My mind instantly jumped to Getsurenka, the ending song from Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Very pretty.

When I heard this, I just fell in love with it, the Mario Galaxy soundtracks have been on my MP3 player ever since and are listened to regularily

I'm not sure if it's been posted yet but after hearing the FFX ending theme song I really had to put this one in there.

This song is just so amazing for me, partially because I really like the game and partially because I just love awesome piano music.

One of the few video game songs I listen to outside of a game context.

Bloody Hell Yes;
Alan Wake's use of Space Oddity was completely and utterly perfect. That game just had brilliant use of licensed music regardless (It was, I've learned, only on the Special Edition soundtrack for some reason, but Barry Adamson's 'The Beaten Side of Town' was also brilliantly used there.)
It's like they made their game around the songs instead of vice versa.

And Yes, Bastion's "Setting Sail, Coming Home" was absolutely beautiful, a wonderful combination of two achingly brilliant and crushingly melancholy songs.

The Live video of (first) the Great "Build That Wall," then "Setting Sail," that the one fellow mentioned a ways back.

My choice would be The Best Is Yet To Come from the end of Metal Gear Solid. A hauntingly beautiful piece of music.

well mine personally is mass effect, the first one is a longggggg song, but once you get into the decent meat of the song, it gets pretty good i think and really fits the game well:

This song is on my iPod after I heard it after finishing the game. The music video is pretty cool too.1

I could list quite a few good end title songs, but not all of them would fall under the assumed purview of "beautiful". I.E. mellow, orchestral pieces.

Still, this remains one of my favorites:

I still listen to it on my MP3 player from time to time. And every time I hear it I'm reminded both of the game and the sense of awe and accomplishment I felt when I beat it.

That said, most of the ones I could have listed that would fit the OPs description have already been listed. Don't feel like reposting.

Can't believe no one mentioned this yet..
Because, unfortunately, far too many people either forget that game ever existed or never even played it. Which is a damn shame. Still, DICE is making a sequel on the FrostByte 2 engine. So all is not lost. :)

Probably the first Movie License Game that DOESNT SUCK. Sunsoft does have good taste on music. I wonder what happened to them and the composer

That isnt a Ending/credit song, and even if TBOI has a good soundtrack i dont think the credits song have what requires to be a beautiful song

I know its not a song specifically created for a game, but I absolutely love: Florence and the Machine - I'm Not Calling You a Liar which played during the end credits of Dragon Age 2. Its not even the kind of music I will typically listen to but I love her voice.
