Hah, here's a another "this." Fighting games are just so stressful.krazykidd said:I know this has aready been "this'd", so I'll just say the same. I think this applies pretty universally in this genre, too.Ipsen said:This. And since my main game is UMVC3, a good day could turn into a losing streak in a matter of minutes.StriderShinryu said:Pretty much any fighting game. When fighting the AI, all of the solid gameplay and balance is thrown out the window. And, when fighting against another player, you just have bad days sometimes. Nothing seems to work, your execution is garbage and you couldn't read a children's book. That can be absolutely infuriating when you know you can play much better than you're playing but something is just off.
Still, these games are also so satisfying. When your reads are downright prophetic, your spacing is precise to the pixel, your execution feels frame-perfect, and your gameplay just flows, you feel amazing. There are few things that feel better than playing loose and relaxed, with heart and mind on fire.
