Games you regret to have bought ?

Are there any games you regret you have bought over the years ?

Games you had high hopes for or was on a discount, but was so bad it wasn't worth the discount because you only played it once ?

Maybe you feel like warning people about buying said game/games, please share your experiences!


Personally:

The latest game I regret buying by far was Operation flashpoint: Red river, that was just horrible...

Otherwise I can add a few other games to my list if "all times":

The guild 2 - Buggy as an ant mound.
Frontlines: fuel of war - Horrible gameplay and overall uninteresting
Full spectrum warrior - just stay away from it
Darwinia - be happy you didnt play this
Far cry 2 - Meh...
Risen - OMG, I realize how good bethesda games are when I pain myself with this, its just trash.
Section 8 - kind of a.. eh... couple of cool mechanics, but it just isnt funny.
Titan quest - if you're gonna grind, do it in WoW...
The Witcher - the combat is just unbearable.
Age of conan - Do I need to explain?
EDIT: Empire earth 2 - *shivers*

I returned MvC3 the day after I bought it. Got very bored, very quickly.

I also recall, a few years back, buying the Sonic Ultimate Collection on PS2 in hope of a fun-filled nostalgia trip. I completed the game in a matter of hours, unfulfilled, and returned it.

I also bought Bl'Ops on Steam. Mega waste....

X-Men: Next Dimension - The controls weren't good, the fights were boring, the music was awful, Mystique didn't change shape, and it had few, if any, redeeming qualities.

Shadow the Hedgehog. I was one of the few people who thought Heroes was ok, despite it's flaws. So I figured this would be ok as well. I was wrong. I was soooo wrong...

Modern Warfare 2; gahh! Never really got into it and after a month, I hated it so much I found an excuse to trade it in.
I traded it in for Dragon Age: Origins, which I also regretted; I've always felt it started out really well, only to be ruined by really repetitive combat and a plot that's just a bit too predictable after a while.

Killzone 3.

What the hell is up with this matchmaking system? There's 12 maps for warzone, but I've only played like 6 of them! Every time I get on I get the same map over and over without end!

I once bought a game that it turned out was all in spanish and had no language options, but then again, it was only 50p.
50p well spent just for the lulz it gave me.

I spent weeks trying to get a copy. When I did, my PS3 wouldn't read it and when it did, it would freeze whenever it got to a certain part. Genuine regret.

Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands (Wii)
Maybe it's good on other platforms, but the Wii version is lame and uninteresting. They took away all the cool powers you have in the others because the Wii couldn't possibly support it.

Halo Wars

DA:O and Fallout both suffer from the same kinds of issues I think. They're slow, clunky, and just not much fun if you aren't into exploration.

Burst Limit and Black Ops are just horrible games in general.

Halo Wars had potential to be fun, but the central hub base design idea is just bad, and it had a lot of balance issues. *cough* Warthog rush *cough*
