This topic makes me think of one of the first games I ever owned/played on my old PS1 (born in '92, got into the gaming scene during the PS1/64 era): Abe's Odessey. Man, truth be told, I woulda been about 10 (can't remember exactly, probably about that age), and that game gave me nightmares. I never did finish it, and even as I grew older and the PS2 came out, and now the current gen with the 360, the game stuck in my mind. I'd love to go back and finish it but i've long since sold (or is it lost? I can't remember) that playstation.
FF VIII
At first, it was simply a matter of my disks being too scratched up to make it through the final boss...but once i got my disk cleaner and relocated that piece of shit game some 4-5 years later, i just couldn't sit through it again. This game makes no fucking sense T_T.
The Witcher
Both times i tried to play this game, i got the runaround with the god damn enhanced edition/language pack bullshit and subsequent patches, adding a solid 3 hours to an otherwise painless install...only to realize it didn't fix the issue of the game CRASHING WHEN I SAVE!!!!!! Pretty hard to make progress when the game's concept of autosave it once every couple of days...real time >_<.
The World Ends With You
Maybe this was a bit of a misunderstanding with the title...you see, i really wanted to destroy the world when i bought this. Okaaaay, that's a lie...the urge to destroy all existence only came after i "beat" the game, only to realize that I'll have to play it again while collecting what essentially amounted to achievements in order to get the rest of the story in boring text format, written with all the soul of a dejected white collar employee working on his 548925th TPS report.

I got to the end boss of that game, made 3 save files, and all 3 corrupted simultaneously, wiping out all my progress. I refused to sit it again. FF8 is a trippy, trippy game.Glaive_21842 said:
The Last Remnant on 360. The whole thing just feels really slow. Like, every small battle takes about 2-3 minutes each becuase of the agonisingly slow turn-based sequences and the infuriatingly long loading screens that happen before and after every battle. And I know that the story will drag out forever courtesy of SquareEnix and the story itself doesn't really interest me at all so I just can't really be bothered to carry on with it.
Although, the reason why I may one day beat this game is that it looks Amazing from the characters to the dungeon design and I always love to explore the worlds of Squeenix games because of this.

I've bascially finished all the games I have on the 360, but I have a LOT on the PS2 that I need to get done. Now that I'm thinking about it.. I think I'm going to go play some Jak and Daxter now..

Yeah, I don't really know why I put it in. Might as well have put in Mafia Wars on Facebook or other games that I (and the rest of the world) don't care about.RadiusXd said:
