I love those games, except Halo of course. Anyway...I really like Day of Defeat: Source. Probably my favorite multiplayer FPS ever.stompy said:Assassin's Creed and Halo are on the list, yes. I also say Rainbow 6: Vegas and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. They're nice tactical shooters, just the genre I like.
I've never played Day of Defeat: Source, though it looks interesting. Is it class-based, or just 'teams'?KissofKetchup said:I love those games, except Halo of course. Advent rising was great i loved itLink Kadeshi said:Seriously, I loved that game, I almost bought a PSP for the side story, Advent Rising Shadows, but I couldn't justify the expense of a single game and a system of trashy games (Oh, I went there). The Overmatt post=9.72877.831253 said:Advent Rising: I'm probably the only one who liked this game, but I though it presented a neat story and lots of fun ways to mix telekinetic powers with gun combat (blasting opponents mid-air with a rocket launcher after you throw them up there with telekinesis as you dive away Matrix-style for example).
Also, I've long since loved Homeworld. Sadly, Homeworld 2 was the victim of Sierra wanting monies. And though it's not really a disliked game, how about more Freespace? Am I right, people?!
Yeah it's class based there's a rifleman, assault (Tommy Gun/MP40), Support (BAR/Stg44), Sniper, Machine gun, and Rocket Class. Plus the classes are balanced really well.stompy said:I've never played Day of Defeat: Source, though it looks interesting. Is it class-based, or just 'teams'?
