Games you're convinced nobody else is playing?

I'd LIKE to say Xenoblade Chronicles, but come April, every dang JRPG fan worth his oversided sword and pointy hair will be playing it, so it won't really count as a game that nobody else is playing.

Right now?

EUROPEANS.

Y U NO PLAY XENOBLADE!?

LSD on the PSX.
Michigan: Report from Hell on PS2 (well, maybe they're playing it in Japan)
Killer7 on GCN.
Terranigma on SNES (Again, maybe in Japan, or possibly Europe)
Penumbra: Overture on PC.

Oh, and for the record I own a copy of Blue Stinger, that game is delightfully cheesy and plays like an extreme Resident Evil. I loved the horror games on the Dreamcast, which reminds me of another one for this list you should probably check out:

Illbleed on DC.

Rayman Origins: I've heard NO one talk about this yet others go on and on about that Mario Wii game that made me want to kill my friends over(bumping against friends, ENRAGING thanks Nintendo) it's 4 player 2D platforming heaven. It's beautiful, has great music, 4-player co-op, is a fun game that brings challenge.
I'm playing that game... I just find it pretty boring, to be honest. Too much in common with NSMBW - right down to getting "bubblefied" when you die. It's a beautiful game (visually at least. I'm not fond of the audio), and a solid platformer, but that's all it is - a solid platformer. It really doesn't bring much new to the table, which is a shame. NSMBW brought in a solid (if frustrating) multiplayer aspect, Donkey Kong Country Returns had amazing level design with dynamic environments, Kirby's Return to Dreamland took the copy ability to the next level... it's not that Rayman Origins is a BAD game, because it's not at all, it's just after those three titles I'm kinda platformed out, and Origins doesn't do enough to get me excited again. You could put that more down to bad timing that anything else though.

SimAnt! I remember playing that on a mac back in the day :D

What am I playing at the moment? Skyrim... No one has ever heard of Skyrim...

Fine, Sacred: Underworld isn't bad (though not overly obscure either I guess). It's a 2d isometric-y hack and slash much like Diablo 2. I will be blasphemous and say I prefer Sacred.

No one I know seems to have ever played the Shadow Hearts series. It's too bad. It was an awesome franchise that will sadly probably never see another installment.

I've played that one before, although it was a long time ago.

OT:One game that I pulled out the other day was Streets of Sim City. It allowed you to build Sim City 2000 maps then drive around them. Sort of like Sim Copter (also an awesome game) but with cars. It was a pretty rubbish game but I got some good times out of it. I don't know if anyone else even has it, or has heard of it.

the original .hack// series on the PS2
You reminded me I need to finish that series. My problem is I always get to Outbreak...and then get the desire to completely play through G.U. I do love the original series, but the combat just pales in comparison. But either way, you're not alone, as since I let my friend borrow G.U. recently, I've definitely been thinking about getting back to it. Unfortunately Mutation and Quarantine are missing somewhere >.<

Personally I thought Mario Brothers Wii was just infuriating with more than 1 other player, bouncing off your friends that had me shot down a deathpit so often. I've never been into Donkey Kong so that's just out for me, like you said about Rayman by no means bad just something I've not been into.
Return to Dreamland I haven't played more than a few levels but it isn't as fun as Super Star to me, that's one big problem with nintendos new titles, I like their original 2D games better than their new 2.5D games.

Their GBA games were also just fantastic but most of their new games...just something about them. There's exceptions, Wario Land that game is fantastic as well as the Prime tiles were flat out great.

Rayman might be better off played with friends, 2-3 was really fun. But if it's not for you that's fine. I played it through with a number of friends and the game was just flat out fun with charming humor. I never played it solo so maybe that takes something out of it. I thought the levels were designed really well and had a lot of things to break them up.

Way of the Samurai.... 1.
Thats right, the original for the PS2!
And Monster Hunter. Also the original one for the PS2~!
Don't feel alone on Way of the Samurai, I regularly go back and play that series and actually have totally cleared the original with all endings and some epic weaponry. Also, I have had many late night multiplayer sessions that make me wish they would put that feature back in!!!

Also... I could cry about 4 not coming here, I really could, mind you I'd have to channel myself at like 14, but I could... Haha.

- Project Sylpheed
I have that! But I haven't played it for ages since I got really stuck. It's the mission where you have to defend your mother ship from being attacked while it's getting refueled in the clouds in some planet's atmosphere. How the hell do you do that mission?

I also used to have Zack and Wiki but I hated that game so much.

OT: Not really playing many super obscure games right now but I do own a lot. Kaido Racer 2, SRS, Auto Modellista and I-Ninja on PS2. Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Link's Crossbow Training on Wii. Flatout Ultimate Carnage, Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga, Infinite Undiscovery, Amped 3, Project Sylpheed (duh), Enslaved: Odyssey To The West, and Mirror's Edge (if that counts) on 360. And Stubbs The Zombie on Xbox.

Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent Moon

It was the best horror title of 2011 , and was completely ignored. Think Silent Hill without the crap bits.

I'm pretty sure no-one is playing Chromehounds at the moment. Mainly because they took the servers down in January 2010. Why-oh-why did I have to put off getting broadband until December 2009?!? Curse you cruel fate...

So anyway, yeah. Chromehounds - awesome game, needs a sequel. Or the servers brought back online. One of the two. I don't care which.

Also I currently have a game of Master of Orion 2 windowed on my machine, I'd be (pleasantly) surprised to find Escapists still playing that.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.
They all seem to be hiding behind their RCT3 Community forums. There's never a RCT3 thread on generic gaming sites. It saddens me. I want to socialise with players who aren't that good but still enjoy it. It's rather demoralizing seeing what other people make.
