....
the one that got the swat team sent to his house should have be arrested.
you are right it's people like this that give all gamers a bad name.
what that guy did in the second video should be illegal.

Does he deserve some kind of payback, yes. Does he deserve a SWAT team busting down his door, I think not...
That's pretty, fucking, awesomet that they came up with a way to get a swat team to bust his door down.
Do you also think it's awesome how much money they spent to respond just for some idiot to get revenge that was way too over the top for something that happened over the internet?
My school spent $65000 on a toilet.
Having the SWAT team dispatched to something harmless is amusing and gives them more training.
Thankfully, the SWAT team didn't shoot anyone.
Your school must be full of dumbasses, as evident by your faculty and yourself.
A SWAT team shouldn't be sent to a harmless situation. And I'm kinda curious what kind of training you think they got from responding to a harmless situation because I'm pretty sure they train the SWAT team to bust down doors and apprehend people before they get sent into the field.
Any political structure will have corruption. What school do you go to? Apparently they're so much brighter than one of the world's best research universities. This is the escapist and not gamefaqs though so let's stop this flamewar.

Obviously they responded in a fashion where they didn't shoot the innocent people.
Now they know for sure they can tell the difference between people just as well as paper cutouts. You also have to factor in how they recon the premises first as well as how they approach. Doing more of it, especially in what you think is a real situation, is much better training than just doing the regular stuff. And SWAT =/= military, so I doubt they get much field/training time as they should.

Well to come up with words and ideas like that is somewhat creative but very annoying.
It would have been perfect if he got peppered.

I feel like you either love this guy or you hate him. I personally hate him. He gets his giggles from being a dick online, and then when anyone else does something back to him in retaliation, he bitches and moans about it, and runs to his subscribers, who proceed to act in the exact way he does, and just spam all of the offender's youtube pages. I'm really into the whole youtube commentary thing, so I can think of a few examples off the top of my head where this guy basically went right out and told everyone on youtube that he basically thinks he's like a god, etc. etc. I don't know if he deserved a SWAT team coming into his house, but I think he does deserve at least a hard kick in the bollocks.

Swatted? The police certainly didn't deserve to be involved with a retaliatory prank, but the troll should feel lucky that's all he got, someone could have filled his hard drive with kiddie porn and called the FBI instead.

I find the video moderately funny, though not hilarious and it kind of loses momentum in the middle. Not offensive - not like he was chasing her down the street. You don't wanna hear what someone has to say? Leave the game. Problem solved. So much of the sniveling that goes on about XBL could be solved by either (ideally) hardening up a little or (alternatively) leaving/muting. The internet isn't supposed to be sanitized and nice, it's supposed to be a zone of free expression, and frankly the amount of control on XBL is already absurd.

At the same time, one good douche deserves another so the turnabout is fair play in my opinion. I laughed at both. I think the misuse of police forces is kind of fucked up, but I won't pretend I didn't laugh.

I can't imagine anyone being on the internet in this day and age not knowing what a troll is.
There is, in fact, no reason why she did that. She could have stopped talking back to him. She could have left. She could have just laughed at him. All of which could have ended the situation, being new or stupid or even a combination of those. It's obvious she didn't like what he was saying, so I'm curious as to why she didn't try to avoid the situation or try to make it better.
As for an excuse, some people are just assholes.
And that's exactly the problem. You don't KNOW. You don't if she wanted or just didn't know how to get rid of the troll. You're just making assumptions, just like I am. The difference is I'm not defending the asshole.

And what if some people are assholes? Does that excuse their behavior?
Well, obviously she didn't like what he was saying since she had a SWAT team called in on his house, so yes, I do KNOW she didn't want to be able to hear him. And while I'm defending the asshole, you're defending a dumbass.
How do you know it was she who called the swat team? And again, to call her a dumbass is just an assumption. Do you know her personally?
Who else would have called the SWAT team? I doubt there was some innocent by-stander who took matters into their own hands. No, I don't know her personally. By the same logic though, you don't know that she isn't one. I'm just drawing my conclusion based off what I saw in the video.

Your attempt to convince me of your education did not work, so I will keep my previous opinion of you.

...SWAT teams don't train using paper cut-outs... It's kind of their job to get trained to respond to situations, so I'm pretty sure they do in fact get tons of training.

It should be fairly obvious that she isn't the first one to get pranked. Again, you're just making assumption. There is no evidence pointing that she called the Swat team. In fact, we don't even know if the caller is male or female yet.

While he is a Dick(With a capital D) and deserves to be counterpranked, this is way too far.

Whoever "Frosty" is, obviously didn't think this through.

1) His family got pranked and didn't deserve it.
2) If one of the guns accidentally discharged, and killed one of his family, that would be the blood of an innocent on "Frosty's" hands.
3) If "Frosty" gets caught he/she will be faced with criminal charges.

No sympathy from me, good return imo. Sex offender registration would have added a nice touch though...

Yes it does. It's a reminder that you don't know whether or not she called the SWAT team. You're ignoring every other person who got pranked and assumed that she was the only possibility. She's not. He pranked way more people and you have to consider them to before making that assumption.

Oh, so SWAT teams wouldn't use cardboard and paper cutouts on ranges or in killhouses like the military does?
