RIP...Gary had a rough life on and off camera.
Yeah for the past few years his life has been shifting around quite a bit. At one point he became a security gaurd. I remember seeing the video of him jumping on the hood of this guy's car so that he wouldn't drive away after trespassing on the grounds. Haha, I'll miss Coleman. Shame to go so soon.

These things always bother me. A celebrity dies that was pretty much a laughing stock of one liners his entire career, and now everyone mourns like it is the saddest day in history.

I know I'm exaggerating but this happens with almost every celebrity.

Check your paper. Read the obituaries. I bet greater men than him have passed away today. Men who probably did good for their communities, were in wars, volunteered, donated to charities, or were just good decent normal people.

The truth is we know nothing about Gary Coleman except what the media spun about him.
Sure its a shame he died young but I don't see anyone visiting the children's hospital and mourning those kids.

The truth is, the majority of the people who feel saddened by this only feel so because it's in the media and he was a celebrity.

In all honesty I don't care that he died because I didn't really care when he was alive. I didn't know him. Why would it bother me? I never wished any harm upon him but I don't think I should have to feel any emotion other than indifference when hearing news like this.

R.I.P. Gary Coleman. My only regret is that I never knew whether or not you were genuinely super short, or if that was just a world-wide writer's joke.
Coleman suffered from focal segmental glomerulosclerosis which resulted in his dwarfism. He's also character checked in The Five Of Us in GTA:Vice City.

Sad day, but given his condition, a remarkably long life.
He died because he fell down and hit his head, and wasn't there another actor just a few months ago that fell and hit his head? I think it was an older actor
It was no less then the actor who gave voice to Dr. Brenner in Half-Life.

42?! That's WAY too early!

edit: "intercranial hemorrhage. "

I was sad that it was soooooooo close to a stroke but nope... not a clot, a hemorhage instead... : (

so damn close to being a situationally ironic way to go.
You could say it was like a stroke, but different...

He died at 42...

He must be a symbol showing us the meaning of life.

Obviously.
