Hope the BL DLC is more classes.
Adding more areas would be unnecessary in my opinion, and god knows we don't need another level cap increase to fuck the game up even harder.

At this point I'm much more inclined to keep playing to try out new play styles from different characters than I am to go to new areas or fight new things.
Doubt it, severely.

All the little cosmetic shit they release for Borderlands 2 counts as DLC (seeing as that's what it is), which is what I'm guessing is more likely. It's cheap, and for the most part just requires the art team to crap out a design, then paint it over the pre-existing models. Easy, simple, and can mass-produce a whole lot for a couple bucks a piece.
I'm guessing nobody here finished the most recent BL2 dlc. At the end they make it pretty clear that there's going to be another story dlc pack. And in it we're going to be invading a place I have been wanting to loot since I started playing BL2.

Gotta love "season tickets" that promise dlc in advance before game even comes out :)

The thing about the Aliens DLC is they can't get out of it even if they wanted to, a lot of folks payed for a season ticket along with their preorder.

Maybe they don't mean aliens and hope everyone forgot they made it.

Wonder what the new ip is though.
Aliens vs Jason?

:D
Or maybe alien vs jasons. Being really edgy their.
Alien vs Predator vs Jason vs Godzilla.

Day one purchase that there.
Think simpler:
Chris Hansen Vs. Predator.
"Why don't you take a seat over there?"
A dollar bets that the Borderlands DLC will be the Hyperion Moonbase, much like General Knoxx.

Brilliant, the 30+ DLC that's already available for BL2 just isn't enough...

...and yes, I know a lot of it is unneccessary fluff crap but, honestly, there's so much of it that I've been put off buying BL2 because I don't want to have to waste time trying to figure out which DLC actually adds anything worthwhile.

Why would you release extra content for a game that nobody, critic or consumer, actually liked? The best I've heard about Colonial Marines is that it's not as awful as some people said, it's just pretty shitty. I mean, it could be a complete overhaul of the guns and the combat system and the sound effects and the level design, with better optimization to fix the loading times and improved AI and free steak and orgasms for a month because why not, but otherwise, who's going to buy it?

I still haven't played BL2. I'm waiting for it to go on massive sale ($15 or less, preferably less). It looks neat, and Poker Night 2 unlocked some stuff for it, but I'm not paying $40 for it, plus full price DLC.

This is going to sound weird but...I'm glad they're making DLC for Aliens. The reason being because they were selling a seasonal pass when the game first launched. I didn't buy it--and I doubt many people did--but I'm sure there are some people out there who did. And I remember asking one of my friends, "What happens if you buy a seasonal pass and no DLC ever comes out for the game?" We both decided you're screwed. I figured that's what would happen to any anyone who bought the pass for this game, because everyone was throwing blame around that it looked like no one would ever work on this game again.

Too bad I traded my copy in about a month ago. Took way too long for them to announce anything for it. And I'm betting it's just going to be more multiplayer stuff, so I really wouldn't care.

I really wish devs would get a better idea of what their new IPs are before they announce them.

"New IP" doesn't mean anything except "New IP". It could honestly be anything from having custard pie fights with puppies to fighting giant evil space squids with cake cannons.

And I guarantee the new IP won't be nearly as fun or awesome as those two things I just thought up right now.
