Oh, and I want all the pessimists to shut the fuck up about super AIDs, because all it does is represent an on the whole flawed perception of how viruses work, and more importantly, how the cure will work. We don't have the ultra-flu yet, do we?

It would require stem cell research, the argument against stem cell research is it uses embryos that can in no way whatsoever can become human life, but the idea that in an alternate universe they could be makes it murder. And that is so not worth saving millions of lives, obviously.
