Get Ready for More Sam & Max in 2010

Telltale Games [http://www.telltalegames.com/] has launched a Sam & Max 2010 website with good deals, free stuff and the promise of more zany antics from the Freelance Police.

It's not exactly hot on the heels of their successful comeback at Telltale, but the anthropomorphic dog and hyperkinetic rabbity thing better known as Sam & Max are poised to appear in their third season of episodes in 2010. Nothing is known about where their latest adventures will take them, but the Sam & Max 2010 website does offer a cryptic insight into what the future may hold.

"In all the universe, the only power beyond the mind's comprehension is the power to comprehend the power of the mind," it says. "If anyone of us could unlock this terrible power, would we use it to explore the mysteries of the infinite? Or would we use it to destroy?"

Hey, I have no idea, but I do know that if you sign up for the Freelance Police Special Forces you'll get email updates about the progress of the game, good deals on one or both of the previous seasons and a free copy of telltalegames.com/samandmax2010 [http://www.telltalegames.com/samandmax/icestationsanta].

YAAAAAY!

Thank god, the saviour of point and click games is back!
Indeed. Season 2, especially the final two episodes, was fantastic. I honestly can't wait.

Awesome!

Been playing season one for the Wii the last few days and I'm having a blast. Although I got stuck many times in episode 4 and 5. Just got started on episode 6.

I was pointed to said website by the ending of the esteemed and frankly awesome Monkey Island series. Kind of surprised by the ending epilogue video and the URL for Sam and Max. I don't think either disappointed though. In TellTale I trust.

I'm looking forward to it, although I can't help but feel a little cautious if they're going to use so many "fetch-quest" esque puzzles in the games. They've done some smart puzzles, but too many of them are too simple.

I'll be getting it anyway, as long as the comedy writing and scenarios are as good as the last two seasons.

I was just thinking about a season 3 a few days ago, I'm glad they're still going with Sam & Max. I love the first two seasons, I have season 1 on my Wii and 360.
