Get Rebecca Mayes' Album The Epic Win Two Weeks Early!

Rebecca Mayes' collection of videogame-reviewing music won't officially go on sale until May 28th, but fans of her here on The Escapist can get their hands on it a full two weeks early!

Ever since Rebecca Mayes made her debut on The Escapist as Rebecca Mayes Muses [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/rebecca-mayes-muses], she's amassed quite the collection of music inspired by (and critiquing) the games we all love and love to hate.

Those tunes have been compiled into not one, but two albums (the shorter Songs From the Garage and the long-form The Epic Win), which go on sale at the end of May. However, the lovely Ms. Mayes has set up a website where all of her fans here on The Escapist can get the album two weeks ahead of its official release!

Head on over here [http://rebeccamayes.com/temp_store/] to get The Epic Win and Songs From the Garage, either separately (£9.99 and £3.99 respectively - that's $14.75 and $5.89) or as a bundle for £12.99 ($19.19).

If you've been a fan of Rebecca Mayes' music and want to listen to it while you're on the go, you shouldn't miss out! Of course, you could always wait another two weeks, but where's the fun in that?

I'm a tight-arse student who buys all his music, DVDs and games from CEX because they're so damn cheap.

And yet, I'll probably find myself buying the bundle. Rebecca Mayes is awesome enough (and a Brit to boot! Wooo Blighty!) to make it worth the cost :D.

As much as I would like to do this, I'm going to wait until the 28th becaus its my birthday and that would make one hell of a gift to myself. That and I'll probably buy it off iTunes for the convience

Not sure I'm enough of a fan to buy the album...
The music's nice and all, and my type of music... But not good enough to justify me putting my money down for it.
Sorry.

I would actually prefer them in uncompressed, compact disc form, with artwork and liner notes and everything. I'd even pay more.

Weird, I never thought it would happen. I liked her songs but after I realized that all of her songs are exactly the same and there is absolutely, absolutely no diffrence between her songs apart from lyrics, I lost all my interest. I don't get why people keep liking it... Weird.

I was so sad when the album release was postponed not too long ago, I really was awaiting May 1. And here we are, getting an early release of the album after all, fantastic!
Bought and downloaded it right away, listening to the "Songs from the Garage" collection right now since it was done downloading sooner. Very nice so far, thanks Rebecca for all the great music, really dig your style and you are beautiful.

Oh and afaik, at least where I live, you don't need a credit card to use PayPal so buy the damn album, if you like her stuff, it sure is worth the money and that girl got to make a living off of this somehow.

Selling this album to the fans here two weeks early is ridiculous. It violates all chance it had of being anywhere in the charts.
I hope this isn't a decision the escapist forced on Ms Mayes, I would be sorely dissapointed with this site if it was.

Bought them last night, but hadn't had a chance for a proper listen til this morning (damn symphonic models essay!!!).

I've got to say, the tracks themselves are far better to listen to on their own - it's a completely different experience that I found far more rewarding. Good job Rebecca!

This really, the tracks work better without the videos. I especially liked the bonus track.

The summary is "Why wait until May 28th if you don't have to?"

May 28th is my Birthday. ^^

Calumon: And I need to get you a present.
