So who has had this experience?
Recently I have been trying to bid on older games that are now available for the cost of a rental on Ebay. I've won Army of Two for $8.00 so far.
But what usually happens is that when I bid, it looks like I will get a game for a steal of like $2.00 + S&H, and then some tool comes along and actually pays more for the game then they would buying the game from Walmart, used at GameStop, or downloading it from Xbox Live.
WHY?!? How can anyone be that friggin stupid? Is it that secretly the gaming companies are conspiring to keep cheap used games off of the market? WHY?!?!?!?
Why can't I get a game for a obscene bargain? Why must there be jerks who are willing to shell out more clams than something is worth? It would be one thing if I would keep losing to someone who bid a little less than a new copy is worth or what have you, but to keep losing to people overpaying? Ach it confuses the crap out of me.
Seriously I am not really worked up about this, but I am really curious as to why this happens.
Also I want to know if it just me or everyone else. Is it the nature of Ebay?
And before some tool inevitably asks, yes I checked for this thread on the Search Bar. Not seeing it, I went ahead and added it. If you can find it, good for you. You went above and beyond a casual users effort. And you are still a tool.
