Green Man Gaming is currently giving away Greed: Black Border for free on its site (url below). I don't know what the game is or if its any good, but for the price of free I'll take my chances. Anyways just thought I'd share this with the community.

URL: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/ca/en/pc/games/action/greed/

Fair Warning: The site is lagging really hard right now. Its taking a good couple minutes for me to load pages which would normally take seconds.

Also for those of you who haven't seen I'm also giving away SMITE beta keys. The link to that thread is below:

You can use these free giveaways GMG regularly has to slowly build up some free credit. Eventually (a few weeks, I think?), these free games are eligible for trade-in above $0.00 again. I've accrued about $5.00 of credit from free games they give out for example.

As for the game Greed: Black Border. It's an ARPG--not a bad one, but not really a good one either. Maybe you should play it so as to appreciate better ones. Some of the abilities are cool, but overall the game is a bit too generic and soulless. It takes too long to level and get cool new abilities in my opinion. It is quite a pretty game, though, if a bit too grey and monotone. Maybe 4/10 on an actual 10 point scale where 5 is mediocre/average/run-of-the-mill. I got it for $2.50 a long time ago, I've never gotten close to beating it. Played 3-4 hours total, which I imagine is more than most others would care to play it. Although, there are a few self-labeled lovers of this game on their Steam forums.

Ya that's kind of the feeling I got skimming the reviews. The credit thing is neat though and you'll probably be able to put it towards a nice sale sometime down the line. I'll try it (I mean what the hell its not like its costing me anything lol), and if its not good than I'll see if I can't just trade it in.
