Goblins vs. Gnomes Goes Live Next Week
Hearthstone's first proper expansion set, Goblins vs. Gnomes is launching on December 8.
Ever since we heard about Hearthstone's upcoming Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion pack [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/138473-New-Hearthstone-Expansion-Goblins-vs-Gnomes-Coming-in-December], there's been only one question on our lips: When? Well now, Blizzard have answered that question, and I'm happy to report that it's good news! Goblins vs. Gnomes will go live... next week! To be more precise, December 8 is the date to mark in your calender.
"Goblins vs Gnomes adds over 120 new cards to craft, win, or purchase, all featuring the manic mayhem of Azeroth's most mischievous machinists meeting mind to mind, mech to mech, and tech to tech," wrote Blizzard in a blog post [http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/blog/16960836/goblins-vs-gnomes-whirs-into-life-beginning-december-8-12-2-2014?abt=nav1&utm_expid=68589644-24.yOgsCsWhSz-gOSDIbl82Wg.1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fus.battle.net%2Fhearthstone%2Fen%2Fblog%2F16960836%2Fgoblins-vs-gnomes-whirs-into-life-beginning-december-8-12-2-2014%3Fabt%3Dnav1].
Goblins vs Gnomes cards can be purchased as packs, crafted with dust, or earned in the Arena. Goblins vs Gnomes card packs will work just like the classic card packs that you already know, but they'll have an explosive new wrapper, and contain all new cards!
The December 8 release date is for the Americas and Oceania only - those of you in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and China will have to wait an extra day until December 9.
Blizzard neglected to offer any additional news about the Android release of the game, which was promised to be coming this month.
