OK, here's the story behind this post. I wanted to play fallout 3 since it was announced, drooled over previews, screenshots and reviews, and finally bought a copy a few weeks ago. I sat in school for a week with the game in my desk drawer, rushed home on a leave weekend, put the game in the Xbox, accidently nudged it at CRRAAAAACK! It scratched the disc and virtually tore it apart. I now have to wait three long weeks to get another one, and have to wait until half term. Plus, I got a virus (a real one, not a computer one) and vomited all weekend

So, has something like this ever happened to you (Or am I the only one this galactically unlucky?)

When I played on Gameboy Advance and after playing like 5-6 hours straight (Golden Sun...) I saved the game. I change the batteries just in case, I turn the GBA on... NO SAVES. *holllllyyyyy shhhh....naps...* Okay, I guess I forgot to save. I play new game, 2 hours (hehe, pretty good game, eh? xd). Save, and just to check if it worked, I turn the console off and then on. NO SAVE.

Turns out the game was corrupt. I took it back to the shop, but they said they can only try to repair it, because it was their last copy. I had a choice to get another game, while GS is in repair, or get my 150 PLN ($50 at that time) back. I chose the money and turns out I was right - they never repaired it, as every time I came back to check on it, it still was corrupted...
