I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion.35gb, is that a sign that they game is all flashiness without any substance?
I'll probably break down and buy the stupid thing. Curses. I actually bought a second copy of Fallout 3 to get the lunchbox and Bobblehead when the price dropped. I don't often get sucked into these things, but on occasion... Stupid awesome games and their stupid awesome special editions. And here I thought I had exorcised that annoying little collector in me.midpipps said:I know your pain I have been looking at that special edition for so long I want but the price is so much I have been going back and forth on the decision since I first saw it.meganmeave said:More Kratos can never be a bad thing. Now I just have to talk myself out of ordering the Special Edition. Stupid Pandora's Box, why must you tempt me!
Umm... how can a question be a conclusion?vivaldiscool said:I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion.35gb, is that a sign that they game is all flashiness without any substance?
That was a joke highlighting the fact that 360s don't use Blu-Ray.irishdude said:i hope your joking because sony makes god of war, so no 360 port.the_tramp said:...and soon to come - the Xbox 360 port spread over 4-5 dvds!
35gb, is that a sign that they game is all flashiness without any substance? I've never played a GoW game, I've been meaning to pick up #1 for years but never got around to it.
Awww, I was Ninja'd... When I first read this story, my first thought was "Oh, I bet a majority of that will be cutscenes."thenumberthirteen said:It'll be about 5gb of game and 35gb of cut scenes. No wait this isn't MGS4. It'll be all blood and guts!

T.C. Carson. One hell of a voice, if I do say so myself.Onyx Oblivion said:I was looking for clips of French audio of the game to show Funk (unsuccessfully)...and found out that Kratos is voiced by a black guy.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
As an aspiring game developer, I would ask why it is lazy to not compress the data? Most useful forms of compression are far from lossless and result in a poorer quality. If you have 40+ gb to use, why compress it at the cost of quality? I don't think it was lazy, I think it was a smart decision.John Funk said:There's no question that this is impressive, but I also have to wonder if maybe PS3 developers just get lazy when it comes to compressing data. "Nah, we've got all that space on the Blu-Ray, why bother?"
A dual layer DVD holds 8.5 gbs. This game is at 35 gbs.Gamegodtre said:so does anyone know how many dvds it would take for this game if not for the bluray disc?

REALLY?! A hack n slash with more substance than ANY game out there? I played 1 and 2. There's substance, but not too much.
