GOG, Origin, and GameFly Sales

HP's new Phoenix Envy 800 Gaming Desktop [http://www.dealzon.com/deals/hp-envy-phoenix-desktop-coupon?drc=escapist:hp-envy-phoenix-800-030qe] is $951.99 plus $9.99 shipping at HP.
4th Gen Quad Core i7-4770, mid-range GeForce GTX 660, 8GB RAM, and Blu-ray drive. Deal expires June 23. This is the lowest price since the new Haswell-based desktops were refreshed (thanks to the new 15% off HP desktop coupon).

Looks like EA is only making an effort only for gamers in the US and Canada. I would've bought Battlefield 3 and Syndicate on Origin for the prices mentioned above, but it seems that they cost 21 EUR and 25 EUR respectively in my zone - and that's after the discount.

Welp, looks like I have a GOG account now. Not gonna pass up on a free Torchlight when I'm as broke as I am, even though I barely know what Torchlight is.

Admittedly, EA is actually doing some very solid deals there that might actually win some people over. Still not fond of Origin, but that kind of thing could possibly change my attitude in time. Sucks though if Doom is right about the U.S. focus, however.

Thanks for the info. Got Torchlight and the D&D collection. Seriously, 20 dollars for a boatload of games.

Ah sweet. I've been waiting for Borderlands GOTY to go on sale somewhere, so that's great. And Shogun 2 for £6 is pretty good, so I'll grab that too. Oooh, and Torchlight for free, yes please. On top of the Indie bundle and Assassins Creed Revelations for £4, that's a whole bunch of new, cheap games that I will not get around to playing enough.

No you didn't; it's still running.

Go over and log in. The price changes from 7.49 to "free."

Ooh, you're right! I could just *kiss* you!

It looked like Torchlight was 50% off at $7.49, not free. I'm going to make a GoG.com account just to download it.

You may as well download the other free swag gog.com gives you while you're there. It starts in your library.

OT: FREE TORCHLIGHT! Man, having literally no money is going way better than I thought it would.

Big citation needed on those Origin Sales, it appears they are US/Canada only.

The price cuts for me (Using a New Zealand IP address) are as follows:

Battlefield 3
$59.99
$29.99

Crysis 3
$89.99
$44.99

Dead Space 3
$89.99
$44.99

That Torchlight deal is the best one there.
