About 1000kph in a jet, relative to people on the ground and about 120kph on the ground in a car. Of course we're all going around as the earth turns at ~1670kph, the earth's going around the sun at ~30km/second and the solar system including us is going around the galaxy at about 250km/second, just to be a smartass. In a game.. hmm I spose a few hundred kph in a car, and i guess in games like mass effect, hyperspace/jumping in space is practically unlimited.

I couldn't tell you about in-game speeds, but in real life around 100mph in a car, 500-550 in a plane? My uncle races cars and has offered to let me ride along with him during practice sometime... though I'm not sure I'll take him up on that.
