Good PS3 games not available on PC?

No, don't worry, this isn't a console vs PC thread. Rather, it's yet another one of those "recommend me some games" threads.

I'm a PC guy who recently acquired a PS3 in the name of science and, predictably enough, I'm looking for some games for it.

I'm not too fussy about genre, I'll consider damn near anything as long as it's good in some way. I would be particularly interested in hearing about any good JRPGs that are available. My only previous foray into the genre was FFXIII and, well, yeah... the less said about that the better. Also, no FPSs please, since I'm too crappy with ye olde analog sticks to play anything requiring that kind of precision.

Lastly, I already have or am planning to get the following, so there's no need to suggest them:
- Ico, Shadow of the Colossus
- The Last Guardian
- Uncharted 2 & 3
- Red Dead Redemption
- Enslaved

So... with that in mind, fire away!

Please...?

That's the crazy Japanese game with the space marine sliding around on his knees shooting at Russian robots, right?

If so, thanks for reminding me of it.

It is indeed. And a lot of fun that proves to be.

And you're welcome. :p

I was about to recommend Metal Gear Solid 4, but while it can be played like a third-person shooter, effectively stealthing and playing as a pacifist requires quite a bit of finesse with first-person aiming. EDIT: And the story is a bit bananas if you haven't played the other games in the series.

White Knight Chronicles 2 I've heard is a pretty good JRPG. I liked the first one and the second one is apparently a lot better, plus it includes a remastered version of the first one so you get two full JRPG's in one. LittleBigPlanet 1&2 are must-buys if you like 2D platformers, and then basically most of the games Iwata already mentioned.

L.A. Noire is getting a PC release very soon and Alice: Madness Returns is all ready on PC.

As for recommendations I've heard good things about Heavy Rain.

Really? I had no idea Alice was out on PC. My apologies for misleading you.

As for Heavy Rain... it's, well... an interesting experience, but the problem is, I can't really label it as a "game" per se. Did I have fun playing it? I did, in a spectator kinda way, but I probably won't play it again.

Madness returns is already on PC. It has awesome PhysX particles.

EDIT: I see somebody beat me to the punch. Nice.

I can recommend Mortal Komabt as I have it on 360 and it's an awesome fighter. Also, you mas want to consider getting Saints Row the Third on PS3 as the PC ports of the two previous games weren't all that good.

Demon's Souls & Dark Souls - People love talking about their difficulty, but that's not the true appeal of these games (at least not for me). They're just really, really good. I'd go as far as saying the combat in these games is the best you're likely to see in this particular genre. My only real criticism of these games is that some mechanics are left unexplained, forcing you to check the wikis if you want to optimize your character. You can certainly survive without it, but you'll die more often.

Valkyria Chronicles - Fits your 'any good JRPG' request (though it is more of an SRPG than a traditional JRPG). While the story is about as cheesy as anything will ever get, the gameplay mechanics, fun side-characters and pleasing design make up for it.

Catherine - No, it isn't porn. The marketing team kind of screwed up, though I guess it makes sales better than the phrase "very well-written hybrid puzzle game about relationships". Definitely worth a look.

Disgaea 3 & 4 - Disgaea. This series is pretty much the Star Wars of the Japanese SRPG, taking an otherwise very moody genre and reworking it with a lot more humor and systems that are easily understood.

Vanquish - Yes. YEEEEES. This game should be cheap now, which is good because it's too damn short. Bayonetta is another amazing game by (most of) the same people, although Sega botched the PS3 port on that one (patch absolutely necessary, still doesn't run as well as the 360 ver.).

Lets see exclusives to the PS3 that I enjoy:

Little Big Planet 1 and 2 though I find it fun when with friends. Not quite as much fun by yourself
The Last Guy ...its my casual game leave me 'lone
PixelJunk Shooter 1 and 2 I am god awful at shooters and have fun with these two
Mushroom Wars is pretty alright its a tower defense game
Savage Moon is another tower defense game
PixelJunk Monsters is another tower defense game I enjoy all 3 though tend to play PixelJunk Monsters more...the soundtrack is amazing
Flower as well is a good game. Nice and calming, amazing soundtrack.

I'm currently loving inFamous but since I haven't been home in 2 weeks I haven't played it.

Do you perchance have the first Uncharted game? Since I noticed you have 2 and 3 listed but not 1......

Random bit of trivia this is the second game, the first one was a PC release only. Initially but with the making of this game they made it compatible with the PS3 and 360 but I hear it is terrible. I haven't gotten a chance to start it yet. I would presume the second one also plays better on the PC rather than PS3 or 360 since that is what the first was released on. And when I say terrible, the game is amazing I've beaten the PC version numerous times(and need to put it on my laptop so I can re-beat it again and remind myself of the story before starting the second)I mean that the controls are buggy and that they didn't properly make it compatible with the consoles.(seen it played on console and have heard complaints I'm behind in gaming at the moment so first hand I don't know yet)

I'm not sure about that. I was (am) a fan of the original game, and was overjoyed when I found out that the new one included the original release, which I've since lost. In any event, I enjoyed it even more this time around, because it feels more natural with a gamepad, rather than a keyboard.

I don't know that I'll actually be able to play it with my PS3 controller since I'm so use to playing it with a keyboard. Once I get caught up enough in my gaming I'll play it. It is in my queue of games to play. Or at least after I finish a few games I will play it.

Not a problem as you can play on PSN. And its a riot with four players.
