Hmm.

Not enough data to develop a firm opinion.

I don't think there's nearly enough YA horror out there. In the past few years the only things that have been released (that I remember)are Monster House, Coraline and Paranorman and quite frankly I rather enjoyed all of those films.

(Coraline and Paranorman to a significantly greater degree)

And Jack Black isn't a bad actor by any means. I'm not a fan of 90% of the movies he's been in but that's rarely due to his performance in them.

My hopes aren't particularly high, but I wont write it off entirely.

I loved the books as a kid, one of them genuinely scaring me. But, does the world really need this now? Are we expecting a reboot? I haven't heard anything related to Goosebumps in years, even when I was a bit younger. I can't imagine why this movie is happening. Though, it could be alright... If handled decently. Can't be worse than the show, right? .............. Right?

Until I see a preview, I'm nervously excited about it.

It could be terrible, but at the same time, if handled appropriately, it could be a very fun kind of Halloween movie for kids, and scary kids movies are few and far between, but when they come out, they are incredible, most of them.

I'd be interested to check it out. Jack Black is kind of a funny one to cast, but I enjoy his movies, for the most part. I sat through Gulliver's Travels though, and a Goosebumps movie has to be better than that derivative garbage, that being my major stipulation on this whole thing to make me want to see it.

Err how long ago did they stop making Goosebump episodes or are they still making it partly?
