I don't know much about guitars, but she looks like a real beauty

I'd probably go for a name with a 'gold' meaning to it, but I'm over-logical like that...
Florence means 'flower', btw

I dunno, but you seem to have a predilection for black guitars. I also have the same Les Paul, but I usually call it 'Chops' or 'Shreddus' if anything.
Its actually a shocking co-incidence. I try and buy guitars in other colors, like i want an Ep or Gib SG in Faded Red & my dream is a Gibson les Paul Supreme IN alpine White (*drools*).

I also want to start playing Bass too.
Weird. I'm looking for a first bass too! And drums, but that's besides the point.

Bah just get the Zakk Wylde replica. Every electric guitar player secretly wishes they were him anyway.

Good morning people of the escapist, I have a conundrum for you.

I have recently aquired an Epiphone Les Paul Custom In black, She's a Beauty. Unfortunately i seem to have a compulsive need to name my guitars (blame my cousin).
Now the guitar i need help naming is this one:

I settled on the name Florence, but it doesnt quite sit...so...seeing as you guys are quite creative, Any suggestions?

I would like to point out at this point that (unless you've not noticed) i give my guitars female names.

Regards,
Insanum
There's little info to work on. All we know is that it should be a female name for your epic guitarr (fancy the glow of it). Perhaps something Italian, Japanese or Latin name? All i'm saying, since I think a regular name like Angelica should do, is that it's not JUST a guitarr. So maybe common names won't do, right?

I named my 7-string Stella.
After the Belgian beer. :)

I think I'd go with Vanessa for your latest addition.
Dunno why...seems to fit.....to me at least.

EDIT TWO: I was thinking of the name Eleanor, Do you guys think that fits?
It's weird that you named your Strat Lucy. Albert King famously named his Flying V Lucy so when I think of a guitar called Lucy I can only ever think of a Flying V.

Eleanor is fine for the Epi LP. Any other name is fine really.

It has to be a female name though, that's the rules for guys naming guitars.
