Gum: Spit or Swallow?

I don't tend to chew gum, but when I do, I spit.

If there isn't a bin readily available, I'll find a wrapper or piece of paper and wrap it up in that until I can find one.

Why the hell would you intentionally swallow chewing gum?

Because it is easier. Also if everyone swallowed gum there wouldn't be a piece of chewing gum lying on the pavement every 5 steps.

It's not good for your body to swallow it and you can just put it in the bin both options are equally as bad.

I always spit out the gum into a nearby bin or in the wrapper to dispose of later. I don't like the idea of something staying in my body for about 7 years.

It ain't. A lot of people say it is, but it isn't - it's proven. The Digestive system can handle a LOT of things, and a little gum is no problem. ^^

I won't answer the question because of the title haha.

If you chew BUBBLE GUM long enough, especially stride, then whatever binds it to make it chew able dissolves, either through the chewing or the saliva, and you just get rid of the remainder.
