Is this a little shout-out to Zero Punctuation for praising Saint's Row 2?

Or is it just a nod to the community on the internet as a whole (the ostrich hammer would be another example of this)?

Or is it just good fun?

I think it was more a shout out to him praising Painkiller

But that is such a cool looking game

I think it's just them having fun, if it was one gun that fired both shurikens and lightning I'd suspect it of being homage to Yahtzee.

No connection. Just two cool weapons that happen to be similar to Painkiller's weapon that could "only be more awesome if it had tits and was on fire."

Still, I'm looking forward to this game. I love Red Faction.
