I wear a simple black fedora. It used to belong to my dad, and I'm pretty sure it's older than I am but I get a lot of compliments about it.

I prefer either the skin-tight stocking-cap variety to keep warm, or the chef's hat for a faux know-how-to-cook appearance, but nothing beats a good stiff fedora.
