Is... This a joke? McFarlane Statues are about as far away from "Cheap Plastic Toys" as you can get without moving out of the "ten inch tall" category. These things are guaranteed works of art.

By what I hear the legendary edition just comes with an extra armor set with nothing but it's likely to be team fortress two style benefits and downfalls, and the really cool looking paper weight.

Though they might make things more interesting by making the exclusive armor sets in question have overpowered direct gameplay benefits and they will likely look really really cool making all the other standard sets look plain.

Gratuitous special editions, Batman! Those specials are quite good, in my opinion. Although I'm not entirely sure that statue is worth $150.

And on the subject of special editions, any sign of a UK price on the Starcraft 2 Collector's Edition?

I bought the Halo 3 legendary edition because I wanted the few bits and pieces on the extra disc that didn't come with the limited edition, unfortunately it does mean I have a Master-Chief helmet sitting under my bed in its box which from the promotional pictures I was expecting to be much smaller. Looks like the extra bits that I'd like are going to come with the limited edition this time so I won't have to work out what to do with the statue! Yay!
