Its probably because most of the voters are not from Japan, and the only Mother game to come out in America was made 20 years ago and does not share the title, few people know that game, and even fewer know about anything other then Earthbound from it.Hazy said:And Mother isn't anywhere on there?

For my rage post, I would like to point out that Little Big Planet is on the list. How the fuck is it a franchise if it only has 1 game and 1 port in the entire series?
I'm guessing by "greatest" franchises they mean by money made and hype produced. In which case I can believe Halo as a whole gets the top spot.

Ya, the game get's a lot of hate from some gamers, I honestly can't see why though. The game, in my opinon, was one of the best to do the cover feature perfectly! The Campaign was great to play with a friend and the Multiplayer, for the most part, is balanced and fair, keeping all the good weapons in reach of both teams.gmaverick019 said:

Ok, all raged out.
But to be honest, I hardly think RuneScape or WoW should be on there. RuneScape's one game, hardly a bleedin' franchise and WoW itself isn't the franchise, Warcraft is, as someone else stated.
I would have presonally put Doom, Wuake and maybe Unreal Tournament in the top 5.
Halo can wallow down near the half-way mark.
