It sounds like they thought you were bullying him. I can't blame the school for looking into what would have sounded to them like cyber bullying. You were not punished so clearly they decided you were not doing anything wrong, because most schools can punish you for actions outside of school.

So please tell me, are you often mean to this kid?
Others: Yes
Me: No - In fact I try to be nice to him, thinking that one day hes going to burst into school with a sawed-off... and you get the picture.
Well if the kid is bullied then clearly they thought you were one of those who did the bullying, but after talking to you they decided it was a misunderstanding.

This all seems fair to me, apart from "Bob" being bullied, that is just wrong.

From what I got out of the story bob should stop being such a pussy. I would have kicked him if I thought he was an a**hole. The school should not have called you in the first place. This happened outside of school and is not illegal. End result: Bob is pissed but needs to get over it. I have ADD and I'm not that dramatic about this stuff.

Please Understand that we didnt do anything wrong - we just kicked him off as soon as we heard Bobs voice saying "Hey guys its bob"

My money is on this story being fake. There's too much stupid.
Couldn't help but notice you're from the U.K.

In which case, let's just say you've never been to America, have you?
I have, though I was but a wee lad at the time, 'twas a short visit and it has been many a year since I visited.

The streets of Philidelphia were filthy when I visited, you guys need to hire more street cleaners. *coughs*

Anyway, though I'm not well versed on the goings on in American schools on an intimate level, I do live on the internet which has given me more than a few stories to draw conclusions from.

From the information given I came to the conclusion that the story was fake. monkeyman8 raised the point that the OP could be leaving something from his story out, which is also more than possible and a viable alternative conclusion to mine.

This kind of stuff happened at my school all the time. I feel for you. The school knows nothing about your side of the story, they're just worried about making Bob and his family happy. They immediatly expected the worse situation possible, so they interogated 21 people (most of which couldn't have possibly been related to the "problem"). And then they didn't even end up doing anything because you were right and they were wrong.

I swear schools would shoot kids on a hunch if it was legal...

Crazy shit does happen in the UK, but being 2 in the Morning here, I'm more inclined to argue and then NOT back it up...so I'll get back to you, in a near ironic fashion.

The school should not have made such a big deal of this, but I think it's a good idea they did, because if he's prone to violence, then the school just saying "don't be silly, go away" may have made him angry at you, causing a fight etc.

But from what I've heard, this guy can't be/have ADD: he kept this grudge for atleast 13 hours, maybe abit longer...surely he wouldn't be pissed anymore or would've just moved on?

This showcases the banalities of the high-school paradigm. Over here, people who do that get promoted to moderators. Over there, they try to put your education, and ultimately your future, in the firing line, over a videogame [point one], that happened in your own private time, [point two], and was done concisely and without insult. [point 3]
about now i'd make a comment about how i've lost faith in humanity, but to be honest, i've only lost faith in the smallest, most insignificant part of humanity: teachers. they try to mould you to their exact specifications, but try to talk to them after class hours, and they treat you less than humanely. one instance, i left my watch with the teacher by accident after PE, and went to the staff base to retrieve it. I go in, and one of the teachers says something along these lines : "could you hear us talking in there?"
"No."
"well, if we're talking it means you don't interrupt us."
I was obviously missing something here, after all, it was the lunch break, and PE teachers are hardly the busiest people in the world. I looked at their faces, and they were holding back a knowing smirk, like i was the butt of some inside joke of theirs.
"Well, does it?"
"No."
she handed me the watch, and stared me off, while her two compadres look on with their stifled amusement.
i walked away, down the corridor, muttering under my breath,
"Phillistine."

My point is, they're no smarter than anybody on this site, and they just use their positions of authority like a child with a stick.

All that being said, my mum is a teacher... :S

People who get punished by school either deserve it for getting caught or don't argue their case well enough and back it up with solid proof.

May I point out that ADD is an attention disorder, being a douchebag is a social one. You kicked him for being a douchebag, not having ADD.

They called you down to the Vice Principal's office because you kicked him from your party, and with good reason?

Somebody needs to grow up, whether it be "Bob" or your VP.
What if they are the same person? o_O
OT: I don't understand why Bob would bring it up at school, but you are not at fault. At all. I hate people that are this stupid. (The VP, not Bob.)
I smell conspiracy! Will it end in a high speed chase? Lets hopes so!
*cocks shotgun* I bet this guy helped Bush with 911. Let's get him.
*80 Mix Tape in Hand* Been waiting for a chance to use this..
*loads up a .22 rifle" Ah hell, I heard he was in league with them aliens.

well, first off..ADD just mean's he can't pay attention..i know cuz i'm ADHD ((can't pay attention and get hyper))....he's Bi-Polar or flat out has anger issues, and i agree with Knight Templar here, they looked into it, because they thought it was cyber bullying..especially if Bob told them that it was..i know what it's like to be bullied and cyber bullied by kids from school, and it's not fun..so all i say is, stick up for him a little if you see it happen, like just tell the kids off or tell somebody or something..but...i think it'd be more of an issue that his parents deal with ((aka taking away the 360 or internet for awhile until he can handle it))
Actually, "emotional impulsivity" - losing your cool at nothing (or almost nothing) is a symptom of ADHD. My mom used to go from 0 to Shitstorm in about 1.5 seconds, but that stopped when she got treated for ADHD. On the other hand, mine stopped when I got treated for bipolar, so there ya go. And if I were a kid who had alienated everyone with behavior I felt helpless to control, then, yeah, I'd have anger issues, so it could be all of the above. That would be my sister. Family holidays are fun.

Back OT - You have every right to kick a guy for being an asshat. You have every right to kick someone just because you don't like them. But if they thought you were bullying him, I gotta wonder why. What did you say to him before you kicked him?

What business is it of the schools if you don't want to associate yourself with this person?

I can see the point of view from the moderators, because to any untrained eye it would look kind of discriminatory. I know that you were just trying to avoid getting into a mess and all but you gotta remember that people with a mental condition can't help how they are and so therefore the best we can do is learn to be accepting one way or the other.

No matter what the reason, there's no way a school can force students to associate with other students outside school.
Or in school for that matter. You can't force a person to like or accept another. The most you can hope for is them to be civil.

Wait, let me get this straight. Your school wanted to punish you for not talking to someone you didn't want to talk to?

Not sure what to say to that.

He really does have issues if he would bring it up at school, and so does the vice principal

Like or accept, no. Associate, yes. For instance, by assigning them to suitable teamwork groups.

But the most you can hope for is definitely not just surface civility. Skilled teachers have a whole lot of influence on children and can use it to foster understanding. Understanding helps acceptance which is requisite for liking. It goes without saying that no amount of understanding can result in acceptance of a person who actually is an evil asshole. Nor can it make that person accept or like others. But those cases are few and far between compared to victims of bullshit prejudice, self-reinforcing social isolation patterns, and other crap. Those things teachers can help with by informing, by persuading, and indirectly by orders like grouping.
