I don't think Fable 2 was released on the PC.Greg Tito said:Good question. They've been pretty tight-lipped on a PC release at all, so I imagine that it will come out months later like it did for Fable 2.Dr. wonderful said:I always wonder how the game will do on PC, what the control layout will be, would we have to drag people with the moust or tab button?
The version I played was on the Xbox 360.
You know, I kind of agree. But I've talked with enough people in the office who have played Fable 2, and seen a lot of footage, so I do get a sense of what worked in that game and what didn't.Mako SOLDIER said:With all due respect, you can't really make comments comparing Fable 3 to 'past fables' (not to mention the heading you've given the review) when you yourself acknowledge that you have never played Fable 2. It completely devalues your preview.
Fair enough, but as others have said, a lot of what you have described (even down to holding the button to prolong an expression) sounds pretty much exactly the same as Fable 2. Maybe you could give it a go and update the article to let people know how some of your favourite features/interactions differ between F3 and F2? Watching and discussing is all well and good, but I'm sure you must agree that it's really no substitute for hands-on experience. After all, you wouldn't post a full review of a game if you'd only watched it and talked about it would you?Greg Tito said:You know, I kind of agree.
