A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas REVIEW!!!

The heirs to the Cheech and Chong throne are back and more 3D than ever!!!
Have you seen these guys already? They did a movie about getting high, getting the munchies and going on a journey to White Castle for burgers. Then, they did a movie about getting high and ending up in Gitmo... high point: they go to the home of a rich fellow who thinks topless pool parties are passe and throws a "bottomless" party, hoping to start a trend.
This time, they get high and got on an adventure to find a 12 foot Christmas tree. Sounds lame but it is not. It is awesome.... AND IN 3D!!!!

Kumar is 30ish and failing. His BFF Harold has not spoken to him in years (since Gitmo) and he is kinda waisting his life.
Harold is married, responsible and doing well enough, but not really being true to himself. He wants his wife to be happy, which may require her dad be happy, which may require a 12 foot xmas tree well decorated on xmas morning or else.
The two must get said xmas tree. That is the maguffin.
In the meantime, is it funny?
I would write, not so much belly buster funny but highly amusing. I don't think I laughed through the entire movie. But I smiled and grinned, a lot. It just got me and I don't think I've had more fun at a comedy in some time.
I got, I think, every insider joke. The stoner stuff, the , OMG: we're geting older and need to be responsible stuff. The, OK, the stars are kinda well known celebrities we can do joke on stuff. They had a LOT of fun with the 3D stuff. I don't think I've seen more use of 3d in anything since Disney World. Their use of 3D is gloriously over the top, overt, and unnecesary to advancing the plot. Just the way I think they'd like it. It was as if they're saying, OK, you want 3d, you got it!!!
