I am considering purchasing the GeForce vision kit for the ultimate Stereoscopic 3D experience but at a price of $200 I'm a bit hesitant to jump in unprepared.

My PC specifications are as follows -
Processor: Dual Core 3Ghz/core
RAM: 8Gbs Ballistix SLI self-clocking
Video: NVidia GTX 280 (x2 w/ SLI bridge)
Audio: 7.1 Surround System
Monitor: 60'' HDTV w/ DLP 3D-ready
HDD: 500Gb SATA
OS: Windows 7 x64

What are your thoughts on the 3D kit from Nvidia?

cant help you there but damn you rig is amazing. A 60 inch!!! is that really necessary? You have quite a small hard drive for such a big rig.

I make games stereoscopic at work. It's an interesting effect but I don't think I'd like to play them that way all the time. And with a rig like that $200 probably isn't that expensive to you. It has good game support so you probably will find at lest one game you like to play in stereo.

Note: I didn't buy the entire system at once, it's been a work of about 5 months. But a man has to have a passion, eh? Mine just happens to be my entertainment system.

I think I'll go for the Stereoscopic vision, even if I don't care for it, someone around here will, I'm sure.
