Has anyone played the new Pikmin game for the 3DS?

I just noticed that it was released like half a year ago. Is it any good?

It's a 2D puzzle platformer, unlike the other Pikmin games. And not a particularly good one. It controls fine and the mechanics are functional, but overall the game is slow, uninspired and very, very easy.

i've started it. it's fun but like Chimp said it's very uninspired and gets old fast. would much rather play other Nintendo games instead of Hey Pikmin

Played the demo in Target. That was enough for me.

Well that's disappointing, but not unexpected. I was kind of hoping it would be good despite what it looked like when I heard about it. An actual Pikmin game on a portable console would have been great!

only 2017 3DS game worth playing was Metroid: Samus Returns imo.

the Switch is where it's at.

Depends on whether or not you like traditional jrpgs. If yes, then the 3DS had some pretty decent releases last year and some upcoming ones.

Other than that, yeah, not much happening on the 3DS anymore.
