Have you ever bought the same game for another console?

Have you ever bought the same game on another system? What was the reason? Maybe it was better on "system b" or simply so you could play with a friend who had the other system?

For me I wound up buying Orange Box on 360 because it was almost 40 bucks cheaper (9 dollars and something cents) and then I found out that the content on PC was probably 100 times more and better.

Another instance I bought Sonic Unleashed for 360 and wound up buying it on Wii as well because the games are so very different it's like buying a expansion pack (with lower resolution)

I bought Left 4 Dead on both the 360 and the PC. 360 to play with my friends, PC to wreak havoc with the dev console.

I was close to buying it on 360, but at the last second I grabbed it for PC with the hope of quick updates like TF2

Guitar Hero II..."Dead!" was too good to pass up, plus I had moved onto the 360 at that point...

No. As much as I LOVE Bioshock, I wouldn't buy it for the PS3 because I've already played it to death.

Although I almost might break that rule for Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I had it on the PS2 (hated it), but apparently it is almost a completely different game on the 360.

Well, I got Splinter Cell: Double Agent for the PS2 and then the PC, but they were completely different from one another, as stated above. That's about all that I can think of, but I know one of my friends re-bought his whole PS2 collection for the Xbox, except the exclusives of course. His house is now in foreclosure.

Just once, Psychonauts. I had the PS2 version but got sick of the long load times. This was a while ago so I probably wouldn't do it again.

I have bever seen the point in it (unless it would be like playing a new game, but even then im too poor to even think about buying it). My friend, however, has bought gme for the ps3 and xbox360 just "for fun", oh how i envy him...

Yes, The Warriors on PS2, and PSP.
That was a surprisingly good game.
Woah, Woah, Woah. Surprisingly? That film was bloody amazing. Although if you just mean because its a game based on a film, then fair enough.

Yeah I only meant because it was a movie based game I love the movie.
Good, because the film is, well...

... Well if the film was a woman, lets just say she would have a stalker. If you didn't get it, it was me you fools!
I like the fight with the Punks, so good.

Twice. I was doing some Xbox softmodding for the fun of it a while ago, and I already had 007 AUF and Splinter Cell for the Gamecube. First I bought 007 which didn't work, then SC which did.

I bought Resident Evil 4 for Ps2 then Wii. Though I think I only owned both at the same time for about a week. I wanted a game where I could use a gun on Wii, and liked Resi so that was that
