I support cannibal trolls. Otherwise, I think they're generally idiots with far too much time on their hands.

If their funny and not just being dicks about everything. I enjoy a good troll that actually isn't really doing anything bad but everyone is pissed off at him or her.

Yes. A new Slick Samurai thread has appeared. No. It will probably not be an incredibly intellectual conversation about human nature and whatnot.

Grab a seat, if you haven't already (that would be weird), grab a drink (I prefer Sprite), and recall if you've ever rooted for the mother of all bad guys.

Da Trolls.

From baby trolls to old trolls, it doesn't matter. Tell us about a time when you hoped the troll would hook line and sink the form/media/real people. It can be internet trolls, or news gremlins, or real life goblins.

This section is to clarify on what a troll is. A troll is a person that creates a false persona to deliberatly antagonize other people and/or draw attention to themselves.

EDIT: I may have posted in the wrong forum, as it probably should be off-topic. However, if you want, you can talk about gaming trolls.
*shrug*

Can't say I care. There are almost no trolls anyway, just accusations of trolling.

Hell, people have accused me of trolling simply because of my username, I'm not inclined to trust the intelligence of the average internetter.

On that basis alone, go trolls. Where ever you are.

For forums, I root for the intelligent ones, because seeing people spout their angry anti-troll responses while sounding like blithering idiots is pretty entertaining.
This, plus I love seeing trolls that take on fundies, it take so little effort to trigger them it's hilarious.

Any of the escapades of anonymous.

More often than not, their targets deserve oh so much worse than mere public humiliation.

Plus, it's usually hilarious.

And matt bakers now famous "how do you sleep at night" comment to David Cameron, if that counts.

I was playing a game TERRIBLY. Someone called me a fag noob. A random stranger turned on his microphone and started bashing him, saying things like, "Harassing noobs mean your cock is small, play the game right" and things like that. You don't find those people very often...
Ah! The rare, and justly famous, Lesser-spotted Paladin Troll. Never in all my years as a Troll Watcher have I caught e'en the sightest glimpse of such a creature. You, my friend, are an extreemly fortunate soul. [/Classic Victorian tiger hunter accent]

Aynho, back to the initial topic, only when the persone being trolled has been being insufferable for quite some time. Also, anyone who trolls the WBC in any way, shape or form. But that should go without saying really.

This topic would not be complete without a nod and a link towards this fellow.

Clever, witty, and all around intelligent trolls are always worth rooting for, even if you are against everything they stand for.
Oh but how rare they are. Rare enough that I've given up hoping for a real troll.
The Escapist has long since banned all the good ones...

Trolls don't want you rooting for them, they think they are lone gunmen standing vigilante amongst a society of dumb people. Ohhoho you said something which pissed someone off, you are terribly funny, maybe you want to go throw dog poo at an old lady. That'll surely get an emotional response. It's a bi-product of anonymity where people can say what they want without any real conviction. And I find it terribly dull talking to someone without any conviction.
