Warning, if awesome choreography and barely dressed men bother you, then this video probably won't be your style. It's probably not safe for work either, but considering how massive of a pop culture phenomenon she has become, I think it warrants discussion.

Personally, I love it. I am surprised by how political she made it (and also by the complete lack of brand advertising), but either way, I think she's going to both piss off a lot of close-minded people and make a lot of fun people happy :)
I sorta like some of her songs, but her videos make me go WTF?

How is that political? It's just fucking weird. Anyways, I don't by any means like lady gaga, but at least there's no autotune. That's really the only good thing I can say about it.

Why can't we have both metal and Gaga?

On topic, this has to be my fav of her videos to date. The music doesn't do much for me but the clip is like Madonna's Frozen mixed with anything homo-erotic that Rammstein has done.

A most awesome display of sexuality and restraint.

plus you really can't beat a good bit of cross-dressing... especially with men in fishnet stockings...

I find her too strange to even interest me. It all reeks of trying too hard to be different and interesting.
Now here is something different and actually amusing and interesting to watch:

I don't particularly care for this kind of thing, but the only thing that really bothers me is that this is dominating the music industry, when I'd really like some refreshing new rock.

The only other thing that gets me is that it seems that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more effort was put into the coreography than the music itself, (although compared to some of her other songs this one is much more bearable). She isn't really a musician, it seems, but rather a dancer who writes music to dance to.

I thought that was rather original and refreshing, despite the semi naked backing dancers, for some reason kept reminding me of mann gegen mann by Rammstein. Gaga is certainly better than any of her pop rivals however.

I personally like some of her music. As strange as it may be.

But The Escapist may not be the best place to show this here video. Not a lot of people here like her.

I didn't watch it because I hate her and still don't know if she's a man or not. And, I find her to be pretty sexy so I'm just going to ignore her in case she is a he.
This video proves once and for all that she's a girl (there's no way she could have a penis tucked into those panties).

It also proves ToddInTheShadows' suspicions that she is, in fact, Satan. I've never seen special effects like that before... right at the end...

Ehh... This "woman" was never really all that for me. I never liked her "music" or her looks, how anyone can bare with this "music" will forever be a mystery to me. I didn't suffer through the first 2 minutes though, but i doubt i missed much. Only thing i'm now looking forward to is what kind of parody Littlekuriboh will make of this song.

This reaffirms my belief that she is turning pop music back into an art form, rather than just a money-making-machine. The whole middle of it was like pornography, so she'll likely release a clean version for TV, but damn! she is pushing boundaries. This girl is turning pop music on it's head, and all I can say is "FINALLY!"

I did enjoy the religious and military imagery as well. I heard she was raised Catholic, so juxtaposing her in habits with the giant orgy could show a growing point for her. I can't think of any immediate meaning for the military parts, but I know it was amazingly choreographed.

Also, I hope I don't hear much about the length of it. Telephone's full video was over 10 minutes (I never made it through, but the 4 minute one was fun to watch), so this is unquestionably shorter. At least this one had plenty of content and kept the music continuous.

All in all, I think it's a great success for her. She's gone a long way from Just Dance and her grossly overestimating her sex appeal. If only she didn't get so overplayed, I might listen to her more.

I know a lot of metal fans who love Lady Gaga. Is that so crazy to believe?

I love Lady Gaga and I've been playing games on more systems and longer than probably the majority of the kids here. Is that also crazy to believe?

What's wrong if she is? Who cares?

[But in any case, she isn't.](http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/music/article7129672.ece)

You might want to update your pop culture database before you use it ;)
Ok, that is an awesome report, nice link! Respect points gained for Gaga :D [sub]and we can all feel less guilty about finding her sexy >.>[/sub]

All that managed to give me was a giant case of 'fuck the what?'

I like some of her music, especially when covered by Christopher Walken, but this was lost on me.
