OT:

Never really been a fan of her videos, and this one is no different.

While some of the choreography is quite nice, the fact that its practically porn is a bit of a turn off for me.

My personal opinion is that if you can't make a music video without over-saturating it with sex, don't bother calling it music video at all, call it what it is, softcore porn set to music.
You're taking a really narrow (and prude) view of what creative expression can be. There's nothing wrong with a video with lots of sexuality and there's nothing wrong with a video with none at all. They're just different.
I'm not saying anything is wrong with the video, other than what they call it. I never said porn was bad, all I'm saying is, don't film porn and then try to pass it off as a music video.

Isn't the whole point of Lady Gaga to be a turn-off? It's one of the reasons I find her likeable, to be honest - she's doing it for the lulz in my opinion, not because 'sex sells'.

Her videos are mostly non-sensical and bullshit, but again, I like to think she's doing it on purpose just to confront viewers in to questioning what they're actually watching.

So yea. She makes me smirk whenever she's doing her thing. Not everything has to be Serious Business.

Oh, the music is also catchy and hedonistic.

Oooh how shocking. No, not really. This has been done before, another weirdo trying to get any attention he/she can.

Shes a turn off? I just love watching her dance, and because of that I can tolerate the other aspects of the video and music.

I just want a full length movie of her dancing. Or maybe the local strip club, but I doubt they would be such good dancers.

Yeah, I think it's silly how entitled so many man-boys are to seriously think that a woman has to be sexually attractive to make sexual songs. As you said, not everything has to go back to what arouses video gameers on an internet forum. It's almost like only certain kinds of hedonism are allowed by these kids.

I don't find her sexually attractive at all and that's okay. I just love her music.

Any child of the 80s (the NES generation) who were teens in the 90s have heard this before... Ace of Base anyone?

Still loving me some Gaga though - but i'm sure she knows who she lifted this track from.

Hmmmmmm.......... Who do i talk to about getting those 8min of my life back??? Shocking, innovative, and originality are not words I would use to describe this chick. This is all for show people!!!!! She was a blues/jazz singer before she did all this pop stuff, and why the change???? Money! She wanted money and the easiest way to do that is to make some boring pretenchus "arty" pop with some "shocking" imagery. You want shocking go to http://theync.com/

Gaga is the vanguard of a new way of conceiving music, mostly I listen to Emperor, Burzum, or even the classics like (my fav) Rolling Stones and Alice Cooper. Still, I can't help but feel like Lady gaga is the future, the girl is furious, I downright love her, she's the new generation of rock, she has the spirit of rock within her; and now ok little kids, complain as much as you will, but rock n' roll is first and foremost MERCHANDISE, it's all about the looks and the attitude, and the girl has all those requisites ;)

....

Okay.. fuck it. I give up on society.
If anyone needs me, I'll be moving my stuff into a log cabin in the mountains.
With an attitude like that, I'm sure you'll be missed :p
At least he is living with dignity. Not some fucking clone
And for that I respect Cheveyo and both you Digotw.

I have already said some stuff against Miss Gaga a few pages back, but I may as well add something else.

She is just another pop princess, fact. In 3 or so months we won't hear of her anymore, all the teen girls will have moved on to the new musical craze their radio stations play. Her music was nothing new or creative. Do you remember Solja boy from a year ago? How about the Fray? Hell, soon it will be the same for her, gone and forgotten, along with Beiber and Kesha, they will all die out and leave no mark on music as a hole.

I suppose if this music is your thing, go ahead, enjoy it, don't let us bother you guys, hell, you guys probably say the same things behind our back as well.

Not feeling like listening to the actual song, I instead set this song to "The Future Soon." When JoCo starts talking about the warrior robot race, that was right when it cut to the horrible monstrosity pictured at 1:04. That made me giggle.

Madamemoiselle (who says nobody ever became fluent from a Core French program?) Gaga is way too over sexified. One joke I made among friends is that Lady Gaga's first video featured her in something resembling clothing, but she's gradually appeared in less and less as her career has gone on, and if the trend continues she'll be outright naked in her next video.

I actually Songfacts'd this song. Apparently the song was supposed to represent Gaga's fear of sex, which I think is bullshit because if she was afraid of sex maybe she would wear pants more often. It's also about homosexuals, or something. Not getting the political stuff either, unless you mean the goosestepping at the start.

EDIT:

Did you just say blues/jazz? Hot diggity daffodil, I love that stuff! Is she wearing pants? Please, God, let her be wearing pants. Would you please give me some names of some of her earlier songs, because I'd really like to hear them.

I liked this video alot.

Some homosexual fascist goons controlled by a woman.

Pretty legit, nicely done Gaga.

Edit: To everyone who is bashing Gaga saying that "In 3 Months we wont be seeing from her" I have one thing to say. She's the new Madonna. She will be around for a long, long time because she just rolls out these great hits.

Haha, we shall see what happens to her.

Personally I don't care if she is or not, if you enjoy it, enjoy her. Don't let me get you down.

Her acoustic versions are usually great, but her pop songs don't get much better than "slightly catchy" for me.

That being said, she's a HELL of a lot better than most other pop stars. I'd rather her be popular than Ke$ha or Miley Cyrus (isn't she a bird now or something) any day.

Not sure if I liked that or hated it.

The video was pretty well done. I was impressed. The song wasn't that bad either.

Still, her music isn't for me, so bleh. Bleh I say!
