I just reinstalled Garrysmod on my computer, and I am having a little trouble with the map landscapes. The map is very bright, the floor, the buildings, everything.
No, its not bloom. No, its not contrast. Ive tried everything and I do not know what to do.
Can anyone help me?

Hmmm, I do own garrysmod though I've never run into that problem, have you tried using the console to change it?

DESTROY IT. I don't see why people love that game.

OT: Lower your graphical setting.
How do I do that. (I am not good with computers)
Ok go to your steam games library. Then click "Properties" after RIGHT clicking on GMOD. Hit "Set Launch Option" and enter this "-dxlevel 80" or enter "-dxlevel 90" these run it at lower graphical settings. I managed to get it to run on my lowest graphical setting like this. It lowers lights and decreases lag :D

Type "mat_fullbright" in the console and tell me what it says.

Umm, that just defaults to the recommended settings for your computer, which can be over the minimum settings(If you've got a good comp).

Yea, but it can lower the default to decrease the graphical setting.
