Heat resistant mouth?

My parents have always had a thing of saying that i have an asbestos mouth. This isn't without reason however..
I have the weird ability to be able to drink a cup of tea almost right after it has been made, without feeling any pain from the heat of it. Usually in the time it takes me to finish my cup of tea (at normal tea drinking speed, whatever that is) other people would have only just had their first sip.

And so i'm wondering.. is there anyone else like me who has a random immunity to heat etc. or am i all alone?

You know that drinking tea when it's too hot can damage your throat and give you throat cancer? Just sayin'...

I don't have an immunity to heat...rather i have an ability to produce body heat rapidly when cold temperatures hit.

....well the tea has a valid reason. Asia tends to have more throat cancer problems caused by tea, because you don't add milk to green tea. The milk we add cools it down just about enough to dramatically reduce the rate.

Theres a girl (I think shes called Britney) and she makes, what she calls, a pig squeal, I think it sounds like a weird old man but if that can make it on to TV then I am sure you drinking a freshly made brew will get a few hits.

On topic, the only thing I have like that is I can't control my body temperature, so sometimes I am boiling hot when every body else is cold.

Not so much of a mouth thing, but I'm resistant to cold. People are always complaining about the cold in the winter and I don't even feel it. It annoys me to say the least.

I'm pretty much the same, although I can feel the heat, it's never hot enough to be painful. I can drink tea almost straight from the kettle and it doesn't hurt, eat food straight from the oven and it doesn't hurt. It freaks my sister out.

Heat will hurt me, but I can eat spicy things no problem. I'll buy jars of habenero peppers to snack on at school, but when anyone else in class tries one, they'll actually cry. But I can just eat them like candy
