Especially the emotion of anger about being forced to use the Epic store. :)

*Shrug* I don?t get the cynical hatred for David Cage?s games. I loved Indigo Prophecy, bought my PS3 specifically for and loved Heavy Rain and I was the one who loved Beyond: Two Souls (yeah, that was me.)

Heavy Rain was a fun game, maybe not something I'd spend a full $60 on, but certainly a $30-$40 range game.

For my part, I've liked all three of the Quantic Dreams games I've played (the three you mentioned being those games). However, I think David Cage does have a better opinion of his writing than he does. He thinks he's writing this grade-A, top Hollywood script, where he's really at the B-movie level.

That said, there's nothing wrong with a decent B-movie, and that's how I look at Quantic Dreams. I think it helps that the most I've ever paid for a QD game was maybe $15 for Indigo Prophecy. Both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls I got for "free" through the PS Plus program.

I completely understand the hate for those games. David Cage's writing is terrible, he has plot points that go no where, and the games ultimately end in absolute nonsense. Combine that with the fact that all the gameplay is pointless and might as well be a movie these games ultimately offer nothing to people.

Until Dawn managed to do everything David Cage games try to do, and it did it better.

That is DEFINITELY true. Seriously, if anyone really likes David Cage games, they should give Until Dawn a try. Unless they don't like horror.

Wasn't Heavy Rain one of those god awful walking simulators?
No, it's one of those awful QTE movies.
Apparently there's a chase scene in there which is hilarious if you don't hit any of the prompts, which turns it into a serious action scene into a extended slapstick routine. I remember seeing a sped up version with Yakkety Sax playing and thinking it was quite funny.

It's great but I can't go back to it now I've played Detriot. There are so many consequence trees as a result of your decisions it's ridiculous. I played that through quite a few times to get different results and it was different every single time with drastically different endings. My killed off my fav character on my first run. I was gutted.
