Ok here's the thing, people lie to themselves all the time, it's normal and needed for survival

But this particular friend, I have constantly revised my opinion from Forgetful > Schizo to finally complete Delusional.

It's a Facebook app, you know the one that tells you your personality?

He took the quiz and I thought "Hey, it's all true" (5 or 6 statments)

But my friend is like "It's all wrong!"

So having known him for 6 years, I know that he doesn't like anything that differs from his worldview. But this just blows my mind.

Are humans that incapable of seeing the truth?

Exactly my thought after reading that. I'm leaning more towards you being delusional, those Facebook apps aren't the absolute truth, the same way psychics, fortune cookies, etc... aren't 100% truth. They're just vague enough to match many different people.

Wait, so you're annoyed that your friend refuses to believe Facebook's description of his personality? (1) Who the hell cares what Facebook says? (regardless of how accurate) and 2) It's a normal human response to deny someone's description of you if you dislike it, if Bob tells Jane she's childish, she'll probably say something along the lines of "Am not!". Her denying that doesn't make her delusional and neither does your friend's response, but your overreaction to such a simple matter simply points to the idea that you are the delusional one.

To sum it up though, who really gives a shit?
