^ what that guy said. I would say that the first three games are the absolute perfect example of what a trilogy should be. Then they continued it for some reason... I'm not exactly complaining but I still say Apollo Justice was the worst one in the series by miles. That ending. How anti-Ace Attorney can you be?
DD redeems it decently though even if it goes the route of flashback cases and having case 4 and 5 being an extended marathon case which I really don't like in principle.
You probably will end up going for GameFAQs at some point in the trilogy, especially the first game. You can easily miss clues and wander around in circles for ages. I justified it as speeding up to the courtroom sections that I didn't cheat on once I got there. Mostly.
I do wish Franzy had more screentime though, she's so cool but she gets sidelined in her own damn game and I always wanted a strict woman to whip me into submission at least once in my life
