Help with S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl

Hey guys, I know a lot of you have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R and I'm really enjoying it myself (yes I know I'm years late). I just have a quick question and I feel like an idiot having to ask this on the Escapist forum BUT, are there any shops/stores in the game where I can sell excess supplies? If there is I just can't seem to find them and they're not labeled on the map. Thanks

Talk to people, most people have trade under them.

Or bartenders/most quest givers have a lot for sale and money to buy your stuff. If I remember correctly though not everyone will buy anything off you, only the things they want.

You can sell stuff to just about anyone... just talk to them and go to trade...
also the Bartenders and Traders have infinite amount of money so you can sell to them as well...

You can trade items, yes. The most notable location is BAR.

Just hit trade, drag your item to the corresponding window, and hit trade again. You'll get the amount of that item in rupees.

Good hunting, STALKER. The Zone takes what it calls it's own - pray you're not included.

Sidorivich or Sidorich (or something like that), the fat guy where you start out, is a trader. So is Barkeep at the Bar (duh). These are the only ones that buy and sell weapons and ammo, I believe.

There's some scientists with another trading safe house if you trek through a small industrial area. Filled with zombies. Zombies with guns. That shoot you.

Heh, what kind of shotgun? More importantly which rounds.

A Chaser 13, I believe, it was the first pump-action I got until I found a SPAS on one of the Monolith dudes in the NPP.

As for ammo, mostly slug until I discovered you could mix ammo with shotguns (like have 3 slugs and 3 darts in the chamber).

They're like slugs, with increased accuracy. They can't be used with the rifled shotgun, though, just use slugs with that.

Like mentioned before, dart rounds are more accurate and they're armor-piercing, making them a bit more useful against human targets (shotguns still suck against exoskeletons though, shame, since I like shotties )
As for mixing ammo, just switch ammo-type and reload. You'll have 2 types of ammo in the chamber!

Darts can kill most things in 1-2 hits and have better accuracy than an assault rifle.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Chaser-13 was semi-auto. Unless you're using some mod that changes it...
