Or perhaps he just demonstrates why you shouldn't use crappy third-party peripherals for the damn thing that haven't been given the Nintendo thumbs-up. That works too.
Or get over enthusiastic while standing 2-3 metres from the tv... (...and he's a bit closer then that >_>)
Pretty much both of these.

that's pretty darn funny

it's always funny when they do something stupid on live tv that everyone says "oh the joys of live tv"

i actually watched them do this on live tv and no it wasn't bleeped out
Just watch that video again except keep clicking the video ticker back to :15. The way youtube cut up the clip to where you are allowed to skip to makes watching it over and over hilarious. Just watch the other guys face, he doesn't react until it breaks all across the floor.

Though I had one of these sets from my aunts who thought I would really want of them.... I have never ever used any of the cheap plastic they contain.

that screw-up with the racket attachment is the perfect reason NOT to buy those accessories for your wiimotes.

I was confused at first because right before he hucked the racket, I noticed that the wiimote was tethered to his wrist.
Which doesn't really matter because he was swinging hard enough for the strap to break.

Wii: $250
Plastic-injection molded accesories: $130 according to their standard 'HSN price' it was $379, but they cut you a deal so its only $80 more for 15 pieces of plastic for a total of $330. What a bargain. Screw extra wiimotes to go with the dual steering wheels and raquets, I'd rather have 1 wiimote and 15 accesories!
I always knew they artificially labeled their standard price WAY too high so when they decide to just slightly rip you off it look cheap compared to their listed normal prices.

That was not exactly a fantastic endorsement of the Wii. I also think it's kinda funny that he stands inbetween the T.V. and the camera in an unsubtle attempt to cover-up his epic failure.

I've got a new slogan for the Wii "Nintendo Wii it'll destroy your T.V."

What is the point to these accessories? ... People honestly think their game is enhanced by these dumb bits of plastic?

*sigh*

I knew Nintendo was genius in tapping into the market the way they did... but I never knew how inexperienced or dumb their target audience is...

This plus all the shovelware on the wii makes me rethink the place of the wii in the market.

They have no soul. After all, look how much they were charging for the Wii and 15 useless accessories.

I noticed they called it a combat shooter accessory too, they don't want to mention that there might be games with *shock* guns in on the Wii?

Notice they didn't show much of Madworld either :D

Sadly most people who watched this when it was on the air just laughed and forgot about the importance of using a wrist guard to stop the controllers from hitting their TVs.

The whole bundle is a rip-off. They'll more than make up for the damages with the profit they'll make off of stupid people who bought it from them.

I don't see why anyone would want any of those cheap and nasty peripherals. Although that was pretty funny when he winged the racket into the TV. Also the baseball bat add-on looked a bit dodgy if you know what I mean. Damn my dirty mind
thanks for that image.

The only Wiimote add-on i really wanted was that Legend of Zelda Master sword and shield for the Wiimote and nunchuck.

Ahh the joys of watching people ruin televisions with a plastic toy.... Did anyone notice that they were selling the $299.99 Wii + $15 worth of accessories for $329.99? Not exactly a good value...
