How can something be normal or better yet weird?

Ive been hearing alot of people in my school through the word -weird- around, so I ask them: What is weird? So far the best answer I got was: Normal things. So I ask: What is normal? And they get stuck on that question.

Seeing as getting an answer was impossible I developed a theory: YOU consider that something is normal when your positive there is nothing you dont already know about it, nothing that will catch your attention like say a good friend or your room. Something becomes weird when it is new, something you haven't or wont understand, you feel threatened, insecure. So you give a name to remind you to stay away from it, WEIRD, like the new kid or or eating something you've never eaten before.

Thats my theory, correct me if Im wrong and tell me what you think

btw wouldn't being normal be pretty boring?

Normal is something that doesn't push any emotional boundaries or make anybody feel anything spectacular or noteworthy.

Weird is something that does. Particularly curiosity and wonder.

Normal is ordinary. Weird is extraordinary.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

Weird is strange, so being something can be strange and good at the same time.

Normal was what you grew up with, simple as that. If your dad was a serial rapist who used to bring home chunks of whores he had killed, then that's probably what's normal to you.
You must be my long lost brother or spying of my childhood home at least
