I was originally brought to the Escapist by m cousin showing me, you guessed it Zero Punctuation. I must say that this website is probably the best I've seen out there and even though I really liked the guys from Extra Credits, who were incidentally one of my favourite things from the website, I'm still happy I've stayed.

Somehow through Penny Arcade i think, back when this was more of a magazine. Frequented it semi-regularly since the article about Guitar Hero and "More than a feeling", joined Forums much later

i was looking for reviews of some game ( dont remember which now ) and i found zero punctuation. for over a year (and im not kidding) i only saw zero punctuation videos and acutalyl though the deisgn of the site was bad. then i decided to register. my world was changed. this is the best community, gaming or otherwise, i have seen.

funny thing, type in "the escapist" in the google. zero punctuation comes in before the main site. its THAT popular.

I was trying to make sense of the Mass Effect 3 ending, and ended up getting linked here.

Someone showed me the ZP of MOH: Airborne. And I enjoyed it so I stuck around.

Zero Punctuation. When Extra Credits was here, I got really into the community.
Plus the site's better than whatever the hell Screwattack turned into.

Came for Zero punctuation, originally found him while looking for reviews of Bayonetta, trying to decide whether it was more than its face value and worth my time, stayed for extra credits after that mainly.

And I'm still here because LRR, critical miss and Moviebob are kind of fun and anything is better than going back to IGN, plus I never could get into Penny Arcade, Extra Credits is still top notch though.

Zero Punctuation. Big surprise there.

A friend of mine told me about his Guitar Hero III review. Watched it, proceeded to laugh my ass off.

Been here ever since.

A friend showed me and another group of friend Zero Punctuation. I then made an account a little while later when I realised it had a forum.

Funny that I only really watch it just because it's there now though. I don't really "look forward" to it any more. I am on the forums more than anything else.

A friend in physics club told me about Zero Punctuation. The one I saw first was Heavenly Sword, and then I worked my way up to Too Human.

Zero Punctuation, I watched it on youtube for a long time, but changed to the escapist for the on-time episodes.

In the before times, back when I was in high school, YouTube was the only place I would frequent. I had a falling out with the Bob and George forums that I used to check every day, so most of my internet time was spent sifting through internet videos. I eventually came upon Yahtzee, yes, of course Yahtzee. Practically everyone came here because of that fast-talking Brit. He came out with his first two videos then was immediately snatched up by the Escapist, thus when he released his video saying he was now on the Escapist, I shrugged my shoulders and followed into the unknown. Eventually, after a while I began to see the other content, with Unforgotten Realms, De-Rez, and Unskippable. It took me a couple years before I went from lurker to finally joining the forums. Now I'm here.

It's been six whole years since that time. Damn I feel old now...

I used to watch Pure Pwnage back in the day, and they did an eopning to an episode that was a ZP parody, which got me to come and check out the actual videos. I think that was about 2008, never really bothered watching any other videos until last year.

A guy I used to LARP with mentioned Yahtzee's reviews on chat one day. I watched them all several times (he had almost a year's worth at that time), and eventually started looking at the other stuff on this site. Also, my profile turns 4 years old next week! I'm pretty sure I lurked for a couple of months before finally registering, though.

i came here because of critical miss! about a year ago i was pretty active in skyrim nexus forums. you know the site for mods for skyrim. then someone posted a critical miss comic there. the one about you doing things and the druagr training. i really liked the comic and saw the escapist logo on the bottom. so i googled it.i went through all of the critical miss comics at first then after like 5 weeks i started to watch the series. the first one was the nord mead that someone sent its link to me. that was awesome! i watched it like 15 times. then came the ZP at first i understood nothing of it(english is not my main language) then i created an account. i didnt post in forums for like two weeks and here i am!

ZP brought me here and it's the thing that keeps me going along with the forums, quizzes, LRR and JimQuisition occasionally.
