First game ever was Mario/Duck Hunt when I was three. I even had the highscore in Duck Hunt. I was born late enough (1990) that my grandpa has a SNES. First game on that was Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past.
Pokemon Red best game ever...untill i discovered Ico...and Portal...and Pokemon Platinum...and Batman Arkham Asylum...and Kingdom Hearts...and Metal Gear Solid 2...and Pokemon Gold...
Something along the Atari 2600 era of games, Asteroids, Pac man or Space Invaders. Gotta love those older brothers that don't want their 5 year old younger brother following them. Then hand them a controller, point at the flashing screen and ditch 'em.
I'm not positive, but I'd have to go with the first I remember which would be (among other games) Donkey Kong Country... I would have had to be under 5-6 years old... before I started school.
