How do you shave?

Assuming you're a male, and old enough, you have to get rid of that useless face-hair every so often.

Whats your preference? Electric or bladed razor? Dry or wet shave? Do you buy into the post- and pre-shaving rituals we are being told we need? How often do you shave anyways?

All my friends electrically shave, dry, everyday. I've used a blade and shaving foam since I was taught to do so all those years ago. And obviously I think I'm right.

I use a bladed razor...
Apply water, apply shaving foam, swing blade madly, avoid mustache, complete.
[small]I now have 4 small grooves on my left thumb... hooray for mistakes! Never cut my face while shaving, but I got my thumb :D[/small]

Straight edge razor, no water, no shaving cream, NO REGRETS!

Ok, I'm just too lazy to get some shaving cream, but I prefer the mobility of it.

I shave twice or more per week using a razor and shave gel. Often after I take a shower. However, if it's been a long week and haven't shaved before, I'll have to knock down the old growth with electric trimmers, then shower.

Oh, thanks for reminding me, too!

I shave electrically, dry, every week or so.
Partly because I'm awful at keeping a routine, and partly because I barely grow anything anyway.

With a safety razor, carefully and with shaving cream. Don't bother with the other crap, but I do wash my face first or the hairs are like razor wire...

Yet I still manage to lacerate myself every damn time, might give the hectic electric a go.

Electric, dry. When it gets itchy, I think it's a damn chore. Plus my wife isn't around, so I can keep the fuzz for longer

I used to do the razor with water/shaving cream, but my skin kept breaking out. With the electric I'm smooth without complications.

Got a nice Remmington electric shaver. That said I'd like to wet shave, its just that as the years go on the embarrassment of trying it first time and getting it all wrong only grows.

Same here. I'm kinda lazy, so its useually a few weeks between shaves. So out comes the electric hair cilppers and then the wet shaver.

I must be one of the few people in the world that can cut thenselves with an electric razor though. I always seem to catch part of my ear lobe in the dammed thing

I am to lazy to actually shave my beard. I usually have a barber shave it. Plus, I am a bit worried I will cut myself.
