I get headaches and start to have hallucinations (or atleast, thoughts and daydreams that I am unable to distinguish from reality). Trying to sleep during really hot weather affects me the same way.

I'm weird, because the more I sleep, the more tired I am.

That's why last week, I woke up at 10AM Saturday and endured all the way till 11PM Sunday. It was pretty cool, and I wasn't sleepy at all.

I also noticed that I don't need to drink...

A human can't live without sleep for more then a week, which i find astounding someone found that out.

Within this extreme, one's mind can be temporarily lost.

after about 14 hours of no sleep I get really tired but after that I spark up completey. I find myself acting as if I was drunk the less sleep I get.

I just get tired. No noticeable difference in emotion or motor skills or anything. It's weird.

Same here. Even after not sleeping for 2 or 3 days I just feel immensely exhausted.

My record is 49 hours without a wink of sleep. It was pretty exhausting. But sometimes I would get hyperactive, couldn't sit still, 10 minutes later I would be falling asleep in my chair, just to be woken up by someone messaging me @.@

I've heard that after 50 hours without sleep you start hallucinating.
I went seventy-two hours sans-hallucinations...

I begin to sound exceedingly British when I'm tired. As if I was from Birmingham. My skin also becomes paler, while the skin near my eyelashes darkens.

I begin to have difficulty spelling and a strong desire to just fall asleep on the keyboard. Speaking of which, I believe it's time I sleep now. Sleep well, Escapists!

-Edit-

Before I depart, I wished to add: I've noticed that I become rather introspective, which is extremely rare for me and also rather sentimental. Not that I mind <3

I get slightly grumpy after 1 night of no sleep. After 2 nights i get even more grumpy on top of that I i get paranoid and hate loud noises. After 3 nights of no sleep I'm probably full of red bull and coffee, so I'm very grumpy i start swearing at people for the smallest mistake, I remind people of a drunk, and i avoid light, DON'T MESS WITH ME WHEN I DON'T SLEEP for so long because i will literally say every single swearword known to man and direct it at you.

If I stay up long enough, I start to hallucinate a bit. When I was in high school, I used to work on fishing boats in the summer, and there were periods where I was up for 72 hours at a time.

Hmn... i tend to get more and more tired until i hit the 20h mark, by which point I tend to get really manic, from then on i kinda cycle through periods of mania and fatigue. Normally when i hit about 30h i tend to get really shaky, it's really weird, it feels like the whole world is buzzing but it's me who shaking... quadruple strong coffee normally takes care of that though...

I just get agitated and annoyed easily... Also, I'm usually a very playful person and I can usually put up with a lot so it's really noticeable.

After about 30 hours of no sleep I get extremely paranoid (even more than I usually am) and start to see things move out the corners of my eyes. I get very forgetful and anger easily. After 50 I start to tear (or cry) uncontrollably. I start to hallucinate and lose the ability to spell anything quickly. After 90 something hours I get a ravenous hunger and thirst. After a week I lose any type of memory and go a little insane. I also lose the ability to think the most basic thoughts and constantly blink. I don't remember anything else. That might all be false considering the memory problems I suffer during that time.

I once couldn't sleep for three days and began hallucinating that a woman was sitting on me chest, wearing a blue dress with white polka dots on it waving her hand in my face.

I could only see her through my eyelashes and when I opened my eye completely open to see her face she disappeared.

I seem to drift off and become less lucid, to the point of becoming a cloud-cockoo-lander. I often say things which make sense to me but have no connection with other peoples reality at all. Oddly enough, I never become irritable through sleep deprivation. Making an accidental double entendre is common, making for some awkward moments I am totally oblivious to.

In shorthand: I become a resident of cloud-cockoo-land, at least in spirit (I'm prone to this anyway.) Can be cured with a longer-than-normal sleep. (I've been known to sleep for 14 hours straight before.)

PS: Great new thread by the way, a lot better than my first.

To be honest, lack of sleep doesn't really affect me much.
If I am unable to sleep due to loud noises or whatever then I may get a tiny bit irritable, but if I sort of think that I want to or need to stay awake I just won't start feeling tired.
