I'm not sure. I don't stop until I'm at my destination.

If there's no destination, like if I was on a treadmill or something, I'd get bored and do something else.

I regularly run six miles, have done eight without stopping. Could probably manage a little more tan that if I had the time.

What's the big distinction between running and jogging that everyone seems to be making?

Jog about 8km. Though my pace is faster than most joggers as I often pass a few other joggers while running.

Well, I've been going out jogging for 5 kilometers every day in July and June, and it didn't give me much trouble. So I guess I could jog well for twice that.
One PE lesson last year, we had to run 2 kilometers under 8 minutes, and I managed it... so I can't be that bad.

I can't run very far, maybe two blocks max. However, I can walk to *Toronto* if you need me to.

About a year ago my friend ran around the school grounds every day. He did 8-10 laps with weights on his arms. Every so often I'd join in and do 1-2 laps with him then go get a drink and try again. For me I ran about five minutes but I don't know the distance. Also it's up and down hills.

I don't know how far I can run exactly, but I've been able to run at a pace bordering sprinting for about 10 minutes (I decided to stop there because I was making sure I had enough energy to work out after that and it seemed like I was getting slightly tired). I could probably jog for quite a bit longer and farther.

I've never run longer than 10 miles at a time, but that was at a fairly brisk pace during cross country season. If I slowed down to a jog I could definitely do a half marathon (13.1 miles), and possibly a little bit more.

Depends on speed and why exactly I am running. Last time I ran a long distance at high speed was because I was being shot at and needed to get the hell out of there... (about 2.5 miles of adrenaline running is not fun or recommended, especially with bullets flying) but I do thank the US Army for the training I recieved.
BTW, I wasn't in the Army at that time, rather had been out for over 2 years.

I have run a 64 KM mountain ultra marathon 7 times now. My best time is 7 hours 30 minutes. Not too bad, but the winners finished in about 4 hours 30 minutes...now that is sick lol.

I'm like a CoD character: I can run seemingly indefinitely, as far as simply running everywhere that I need to go; but can only sprint for about thirty seconds, before having to slow down to a quick walk while wheezing like a fat kid with asthma. Only lasts about ten seconds, then I'm good for as far as need/want to go, until my joints refuse to hold up my weight.
I am by no means in shape; but by no means an immobile stump, like pretty much every fattie in existence.

I could probably go a mile, maybe two; and this is without being trained/prepared. After a while I'd go much farther, especially if water was provided, and it wasn't boring as hell.

So yeah, me -a few pounds + water +high quality running shoes +arthritis meds +some experience = an average/slightly above average runner.

And I don't mean jogging, either. I mean running. Not sprinting, either, but running.
