I'll be honest and say I came to post BioShock, but yeah (I also think BioShock did it better).

Call of Duty 4 copied the intro, but not for it's own intro. At this point, though, saying new games "copied" the intro would be like calling all shooters Doom or Wolfenstein clones today.

OT: I'm not sure I really have anything to add to this thread other than pointing out the fact that you've confused Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, unless you consider the top of a two- or three-story building to be a "high tower".
